Any one ever seen a brazilian rosewood shaft

I've seen an all-rosewood one piece cue, but not a shaft.
That pic doesn't look like rosewood to me.. (?)

Brazilian rosewood can have sapwood, I guess it could be a shaft from the outside of the tree???

Just for your information

It is all brazilian rosewood.

The shaft and the 2nd photo I posted came from the same brazilian log.

The last photo of the 3 pieces are from the root/ stump that was harvested after it started to get rare.

All was bought from legit rare wood dealers and has been tested.
