If someone could post score updates I think a bunch of us would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Unbelievable

Why isn't there any money in pool? This should answer your question. Everyone is out for themself. One of the great money players of today and we can't get a score update. All of the AZers & nobody was close enough to go and watch this match and keep us updated. Oh and by the way before any of you come back and ask if I support TAR or the other companys that promote pool the answer is yes. I have 2 TAR DVD matches, 4 TAR t-shirts, and approximately 7 OB and Predator shafts. Someone please keep us informed.

Slow down, kid!

This interweb thing has exposed more shit than that movie Purdy made. You're offended that you can't get a report in <24hrs?!

Just for that I am not telling.

I think there are some out there that know the score. But why would they want to start ? From my experiences when I have posted scores and round info to events most of what I got was grief ! Some did appreciate but most were very hard to get along with. Being hard enough to get the info was one thing but when it is posted and you get the crapola it is not very nice. It can make a person upset. I too would like to know how it is going but I can understand why some would not want to post.

This is not directed to anyone here on this thread at all. Just my take on what happens more times than not. It is what it is !

Lol

you must be kidding? What kind of heat can you possible get from posting a score from a match?

Please tell me what kind of heat I can expect before I keep posting in this thread.

Perhaps he's referring to posting scores on a match that is a PPV. The question that draws varying viewpoints and posts is: Why should people get updates when they can buy the feed?

Unfortunately for some (not me because I've purchased many) Either their computer, connection, or "work" schedule or Firewalls precludes them from buying or watching the streamed events. I'm not saying that is the case will all of them, but it has to be that way for many. To assume that they didn't buy the PPV because they're to cheap to spend the money is not really fair IMO. I've ended up buying events that I couldn't watch because of things that came up. I've also passed on events that I KNEW beforehand that I couldn't watch because of work/ family/ and honey-doo's. Believe it or not there are still quite a few Turd computers out there and folks in rural areas that do NOT have the luxury of PPV or pretty much ANY STREAMING AT ALL. Dial up is still very real in many parts of the country. My suggestion to those that don't like the requests for updates is to spend a little time on a crappy computer with a slow connection ans see how much you enjoy it...

i don't see why someone wouldn't post a score to this match. it's not being streamed - free or pay. i know for me mobile is almost 6 hours away and i couldn't take three days off work to go watch. chris is one of my favorite players and i'd like to know how he's doing. oh well, f*ck it. i'd like to know but it won't change my world to not know and i ain't gonna beg to find out.

Henny v Bartram

I didn't know this thread was on the Main forum. The following is what i posted in the Action Room forum.

When I left Breakers at 10:00pm or so, Hennessee was up 14-6. The largest margin was 11-3. Hennessee is playing well and getting his fair share of rolls. He is breaking dry too often though. Chris has gotten unlucky quite a few times. Chris' break is working much better, but he has to overcome the rolls. Most of the locals like Bartram it seems.

Update:

Lil John just sent me a text saying the first session ended with Hennessee leading 50 - 37.

hehe... this argument starts again, and it isn't even a PPV event?

A person has to preface his question about a score, by stating he supports pool and then wonders if he has to furnish receipts for everything he's bought, proving he supports pool?? To ask for a score?

that's a whacked out message being sent to our pool brothers and sisters, to make people feel they have to justify that they are worthy, before being able to ask question.:(

thanks PSYCO

Appreciate the update man. I was curious as well, I know John plays well but I thought Chris would have this one. Not over yet though...

I could maybe understand if they were inquiring about a PPV match. The melodramatics this person used were simply uncalled for. This match isn't even being streamed. At the very least they could've simply asked the question first. If for some unknown reason someone had an issue with the question and gave them a hard time, then turn on the melodrama.

For those that just can't believe no one had posted an update this morning - remember that most money matches are played at night, well into the morning hours. A pool player is more of a 2nd & 3rd shift worker so its rare that anyone with any answers is going to be awake to report the updates to the 1st shift workers.

Quit making sense, I told you about that!
