I played 8-ball for seven dollars per game one night. My backer was mad because I lost $14.

One time I beat an older guy in a race to 7 in 9-ball for $13 (all I had) and then he beat me in one pocket for $15. Gotta make a profit, ha.
I'm small time I guess. At least I bet my whole (whopping) bankroll though. That's gotta count for something. Let's face it I'm lame.

A hundred a game is the largest pool wager I was ever able to collect on although I have played for much more.

I played a guy $20 a game 9 ball with the wild 8 and the break. Won $80 that night. I also collected $1,875 on 260 $1 bets at the Preakness a couple years ago. I hit the winner, exacta, and trifecta in the same race. I also think I lost $10 playing McDogit and his friend 1 hole. I don't really remember though, I drank about 2 gallons of beer that day.

I shot 33 hours once at $100 a game in a 3 way ring game.

I was undercover once and played the highest roller of all time, Archie Karas. We kicked it off at 40 thousand a game 8 ball. He broke didnt make anything and I ran out. He paid me off with eight 5 thousand dollar chips from the Horseshoe Casino. I broke, didnt make anything and he ran out! My bootie hole puckered up to where you couldnt shoot a 22 cal. bullet up through it. What ensued from there is another story, but needless to say I eventually won.
