anyone name their cue??

I don't name my cues, but I do have an uncle named Phil who lives in Bel-Air and calls his cue Lucille.

in 89 i named my GC3 "Judy" wow that pissed off my girl friend, like I cared, LOL i lost her because of pool, best thing that ever happened to me.

Her name is Arlene...taken from Ellas McDaniel's (who?) song

"Now come on take a walk with me, Arlene,
And tell me, who do you love"?

"Sting"

LOTR geeks will be familiar with the sword named above, gifted to Frodo by Bilbo Baggins.

My break cue, fashioned by the elves of clan McDermott, is named in honor of Frodo's blade.

Alas, it sees infrequent use, usually after a coin toss.

Hearing me exhort,"Let's go get 'em, Sting", women giggle and men guffaw, frequently spilling their beer.

I retort that Willie didn't like it when balls went above the side pockets and neither do I.

Playing Cue - Custom Joss with green inlays - Jade
Break Cue - Eb1 26oz McDermott - Thunder Chicken
Jump Cue - Custom made Therrian Cue - Therrian

I name all my cues. Its like a boat, you gotta name it. Ive had Lucile, purple nurple (I still use that one on some of my purple heart cues, lol), Gertrude, Ethel, Beulah, and some others. I only give em the older classic female names, so no Summer, Honey, Pink Taco, or any other stripper names.

Some might think my cue is named DUMMY, but I'm not talking to the cue when I say, "Nice shot DUMMY!". :p
