We are waiting for the players to get out of their 9 ball matches.

We have a few matches in the works, Jason Shaw/Joshua Filler doubles vs Dennis Orcollo/James Aranas.

Also Ronnie Alcano vs Chris Melling potential as well later tonight. Just a heads up on tonight's action.

Stay tuned pool fans just as soon as anything is confirmed i will post a update.

if dennis fights through this tournament and then gets in the doubles money match after all i can say wow - what a warrior
 
Shaw is probably not gonna get in action now anyway since he had a meltdown and quit the 9-ball.

This dude must have been the only one in the building who didn't know he was in a stone cold trap before he started. I overhead multiple times about Russian Kenny's gaffes and that she was his girlfriend, WAY before this match...

To be honest this kind of talk is killing pool

if a fella bets his money and loses
there is almost always somebody who knew it all the time

the loser is a fool,he says

the guy who lost might be discouraged from playing next time for fear of looking like a sucker

if this happened at craps,no one would play again
but it doesn't happen

therefore a guy loses a little or a lot and has no reason to feel
like an idiot

he comes back to play again


this is why pool players quit gambling at pool

some critical person makes them look bad

i lost a ton one day,everybody in the pool room knew it

does that make me a sucker?

what if i was limoning off a little just to get a reputation
for not being a rock


or what if i knew that you have to lose at least
25 % of your bets or i wouldn't be writing enough business

if a guy loses,buy him a drink,pat him on the back
say good game
or tough roll
or anything but don't criticize the guy

he is the backbone of our industry

why do I have to tell you this?

This is as basic as "Don't eat yellow snow!"

Save it for someone who is buying that shit. I live in Germany, and pool is doing quite a bit better than in America, with a much higher cost of living, thanks.

Just because you THINK it's necessary to bet on pool for the game to thrive, doesn't make it so. Zee Germans treat it like a sport. They don't really care if they make money at it or not. There are a ton of Europeans who come over and shoot our nuts straight off in America, whom never saw much use in gambling.

Don't expect everyone to buy into your "larceny is good" mindset.

Yeah after the situation with SVB Shaw decided it was time to have a few adult beverages :eek:

And that killed the partners match with him and Filler vs The Pinoys

To bad too that would have been a killer match to sweat.

I missed some of this the first time around. Were they shooting one-handed resting the cue stick on the pocket liner?
