Archer/Bustamante Updates???

Thank you very much for the updates Fred. You should be a writer, maybe have your own column or something :)

I'm off tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to watch.

It will be mid-morning for me tomorrow when I get into the match so I can help update.

Freddie <~~~ waited over 15 years for this match up

I watched for a while yesterday and marveled at the skill of these two great players to handle this tough Diamond table. It's like a U.S. Open course in golf. Great players can play well on this table, they know you most play close position and move the cue ball perfectly. Merely good (pro level) players have a great deal of difficulty playing on this table. Only the best players can run out consistently on the "TAR Monster!"

I LOVE watching great players play pool! This is REAL pool being played here by two of the best. I'm not too into gimmicks or trick games. Give me two like Johnny and Bustie going at it playing Ten Ball on a tough box and I'm a pool fan.

Bustimante is just a better player. Johnny might be a better tournament player, but in a grind-session I like Busty over almost anyone on earth.

I wish someone else would get in the booth with Ken, he's fine don't get me wrong but I like matches announced by two people soooo much better than a one person narrative.

By the way good job TAR folks....great match here

Johnny mounted a comeback, but he got a funny roll (not a brutal roll, mind you as he needed something good to happen and it didn't) and Francisco hit a bad position shot but got a beautiful roll and suddenly the comeback was stymied.

Bustamante shooting amazingly however. Archer is singing pretty well. He can hold a tune!!!

12-7 FB

Brutal to watch. Every time Francisco blows a shot, Archer shooting at toothpicks and pinheads.

14-8 Francisco

Just tuned in.

The table looks 10,000 years old. Thats alot of powder.

Awful last couple of games. Francisco has such a huge lead that he's gotten very loose on his shots. Johnny can't get that easy starting shot and can't get out of his own way when something he should make comes up.

Johnny missed twice on tough leaves after Francisco's misses. Seems to be the story of the match. Francisco has missed a bunch of shots and the leaves have been blood testers at best. Johnny's unfortunately failing the tests.

Last game before intermission, Django leaves that simple start that Archer has been begging for, and he almost blows it. Very tough looking three ball out but Johnny gets out. Might be good for his psyche.

Intermission.

Francisco leads by a touchdown 16-9. Could have been much worse for Archer.

Brandon, I'm sick of your lies! We all know that pool players don't work...

I got a real job now and everything :) I do have some time off if you want to play some this week. Probably Wednesday or Thursday works best. Send me a text.

As far as Busty and Johnny, there should be a mercy rule in this one. I don't know if Johnny will win another game. Francisco is a gambling monster. His high gear is too high for most.
