You probably would be wiser to call Bryan and maybe even the police as well. If you took the cue, you might find yourself in a bad spot legally unless you had some paperwork showing you were authorized to repo it. It would be a little different than Bryan taking it, but kudos for your willingness to help.

You lost a cue, Jeff lost his reputation. Plus he earned himself a lot of bad karma. Bad things happen to bad people, and Jeff will soon find out it wasn't worth it to stiff you on this cue. His only out is to pay you or return it - QUICKLY!

You are right to try to track this cue down.All to often these things happen and people just sort of shrug it off.Most people will act with honor but those that may not need to know there are consequences.
 
unfortunatley, it's the 10% rule. 90% of the time, dealings are great with people. But, there are those 10% that just make life hell and make you wonder why you do it. It's tough not to focus on those 10%. But, you have to make yourself focus on the 90% and you will feel a lot better.

God, I love that show. And that would be hilarious to see them show up at a pool hall and try to repo a cue. I could see matt getting cracked in the head with a thrown cue ball and then he's swinging someones $10,000 black boar like it's a baseball bat. That would be an awesome episode.

I've never found that to be true, quite the opposite actually. I could use that my advantage but my silly morals keep getting in my way.

Bryan, I hope you get the cue back, but honestly I wouldn't hold my breath. What was the price tag on it?

Maybe he's just really busy and hasn't had the time to return the stolen property? (Or have you heard that one already?)
 
Beautiful cue by the way....good luck in finding it.....I don't mean to sound bleak..but you may call a few pawn shops in the area.

Friends don't deserve to be treated like that. Hope it works out for you. From experience, helping casual friends can be as iffy as any jagoff on the street.

Surely someone on here knows Jeff and can get a firm message to him. Maybe the sheer guilty conscience will cause the guy to make it right.

They must pay Matt plenty to be the goofball on that show. It a scripted show masquerading as reality and yet they wont even write him doing much except gettin his ass kicked (or sprayed), doin something stupid, crashing a car-Brutal.
