Arm Skid

I'm not familiar with Arm-skid, but I do suffer Brain-skid.

Brain-Skid (n/v/adj) That moment in time where you believe you have everything figured out and under control. Only to suddenly realize you have no clue whats happening and truly have zero control over the given situation or outcome. Your brain then suddenly comes to a skidding halt! Typically followed by sudden outbursts of vulgar language and/or violence towards inanimate objects.

Am I on track here, or did I just derail the entire train?

Try it

Lock your shoulder...every stroke
You may have to force it a few times in the beginning.... but once it becomes second nature......
Well it works for me.... and I can run 1 in a row with ball in hand.

I have been slammed on here before for saying this, but that's ok. I turn my wrist ever so slightly towards my side, just enough to feel a little tension, it keeps my arm straight and works great on full length shots. I feel that it tells me where my arm is, instead of just there. Try it, you might be amazed. I made 40 grand a year for 7 years playing, so I know a little.

When you get over 60 your brain cells harden up like rice crispies. Anything is liable to happen at any time.

Anyone else seem to have arm skid occasionally? Where your arm seems to react completely different from what you told it to do. Arm Skid.

It doesn't happen often but when it does it can cost you the set. I would like to know if anyone has a solution for this phenomenon.

I always called it a brain fart..but arm skid sounds more politically correct I reckon :D
