On that note, why doesn't everyone just leave the guy alone and ignore him if you don't like him?
Not that it matters, but where there was once some respect, I am quickly losing some respect for those that should be grown up enough to know better.
Craig,
Being stubborn and going out of your way to purposely annoy an entire forum is not very grown up either.
I don't think it comes down to "knowing better". I sincerely tried to help Mike as did many other people on this forum. I defended him and continued to help him until he started suggesting that the instructors on this forum "thought they knew everything" but that we lacked the skills and knowledge necessary to help him. Myself and others spent a lot of time trying to help im out, and he suggested we were incompetent instead of looking in the mirror and realizing that maybe, just maybe, it might be him.
He pushed and pushed and pushed. In the end, he got the boot - deservedly so. I did ignore him. Twice. I've said that before. However I won't sit back an allow anyone to insinuate that I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to teaching this game. I've worked with many champions and their success would dispute his insinuations.
Perhaps in 6 months he'll come back with a new attitude, or he'll just switch forums and start tossing grenades at everybody from where ever he ends up. That's usually what happens anyway.
I don't like to see anybody get the boot (except that nut with the dog in Atlanta) but in this case it was inevitable that at some point he was going to run out of lifelines or the mods were going to run out of patience. Mike knew better, but chose to push the envelope and push buttons - intentionally. When you do that, you take your chances of getting feedback that will be abrasive by those that usually don't have to respond that way.
