correct me if i am wrong, but isnt it against AZB Forum policy for any poster to threaten another poster?

granted there seems to be alot of disagreements between posters, and some posters post threads that others think are useless and not funny - at times i fall into this category. also i have noticed lately that some of the more "Respected" posters on this forum seem to be having disagreements with other posters.

but, it seems to me that if any poster writes threatening comments towards another then that is completely Out Of Bounds, and should be dealt with.

am i correct or not Mr. Wilson & Chucklez65?

What would be REALLY funny, is if we got 10 or so respected posters to agree that they would like to pound DCP, in this very thread. The mods can't ban all of them, right?? :D :D :D :D

The thread your talking about appears to be a lot of "I wish, I hope, someone should, etc." type dribble. The poster is,IMO, passing time and/or treading water.

Enjoy what's left of the holidays.:)

Besides, if I wanted drama "days of our lives" is on as I type.

If the mods do read this - keep in mind that the guy that started this worthless thread (DCP), in addition to being useless and not funny at times, is a total pain in the ass.

Whether DCP gets flamed more than he deserves is a matter of opinion and I express none here one way or the other. What I do find interesting however, is the number of responses he tends to get. Seems to me there is more than a little "playground bullying" going on.

But I DO agree that this thread should definately have been posed to the mods via a PM.

i may or may not be useless, i may or may not be funny, i may or may not be a pain in the arse, but i've never threatened anybody on here - period!

i think you need to stick to defending your comments regarding the WPBA and its problems. after the way you stirred the pot there i dont think you have much right to make comments about anyone else.

finally, why cant we all just get along? if you dont like a thread or the poster, why not just ignore it and let it play out, and move on?

i just went and read the Forum Rules. Hateful and Threatening posts are not to be tolerated.

therefore, if a poster threatens to slash someone's tires, or threatens to kick someone's ass, that poster should, by rule, be banned from the forum.

As an unbiased by-stander, I must say that this certainly does not seem to be your intentions. If this were the case, this could have been done discreetly.

Secondly, that is an ignorant question. Of course it is against forum policy to threaten another poster... it is also illegal to travel more than 55mph when the speed limit is clearly posted. The degree of severity of punishment would be a less ostentatious question.
 
aw poor DCP.

you know, maybe instead of crying about any percieved threats, you should have a deep introspective look at how you act on these fourms to better understand why people would want to beat you up in real life.

Just a suggestion.

Desire versus intent is the key, my man... But I wouldn't expect you to be smart enough to see the difference. Trolls don't usually have that good a command of the English language.

As you later posted, of course, it is against the rules and you should have read them before starting this thread.

As you know, I have not been one of the posters who seem to enjoy taking you to task but this time, you were way off base.

IMHO, you should announce here that you will PM the mods with any grievances AND will ask them to delete this thread. It is CERTAINLY not doing you any good.

You know what, Jim? You're right. I had him on ignore. In fact I have had him on ignore twice. I never keep anybody on my ignore list for very long unless its a Fast Larry incarnation, and I know Mike isn't Larry.

Just because someone is on ignore, doesn't mean that you won't see their posts - someone always quotes them. So much for the ignore list.

Contrary to what you may think about what is going on, it is not bullying.

I have corresponded with DCP on this forum for many years. We have had conversations on the phone in the past. Over the past few months I become increasingly annoyed with his posts, where he loves to play the victim. It's old. It's been old for a very very long time.

I have not always gotten along with Russ Chewning. Ask him. We don't agree on every topic, but we have come to a mutual respect for each other and we have put aside our past differences as if they never occurred. In fact, I can't wait til he gets back here so we can hit a few tournaments here in Florida and the Southeast.

I am firmly convinced that DCP purposely tries to annoy others on this forum with his posts. Its not accidental. For a time I defended the guy and the questions that he asked.

One day I woke up and noticed

A) that he asked questions
B) he received answers
C) he challenged the answers and the people that provided them in an attempt to keep the threads going
D) Just like in this thread, he'll use one thread to start 2 or 3 sub threads that deal with sub-issues of the original thread.

I completely understand that you believe that we are all ganging up on him. We're not.

Believe it or not, DCP is quite capable of taking care of himself and fighting his own battles, even if he doesn't realize it most of the time.

he reminds me of one of those people that really has no friends so he tries to hide beind a veneer of annoyance.

if you notice, he kind of thrives off the attention given to him by members on this fourm.

A recent example is how he mentions so much about the cuetecs ever since people made a big deal about it.

I CERTAINLY would not like to see you banned...and don't think that you deserve to be by ANY strecth of the imagination. In fact, I think you make significant contributions here.

Having said that, I just wonder if ignoring certain posters...either officially by use of the ignore feature or by just not responding, would be a better strategy than fanning the flames.

And having said THAT, I know that I do my share of fanning so I live in a glass house on that score...but there are certain posters...without mentioning any names...who are more or less "helpless" than others so there is an element of "picking on someone our own size."

Just my $0.02 and given with great respect.
