How can events like that be FREE to watch when guys like TAR PAY THE PLAYERS OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET and try to recoup the investment on the back-end with PPV/DVD sales?

Lots of free pool to watch. Did you check the InsidePool channel on YouTube? Also Ustream has lots of recorded matches. I like how you compare yourself with someone who stole classified documents, nice. Hey, look at me, I'm same as this other thief.

Why don't you take a video camera to the events you want recorded and give out those recordings for free instead of taking other people's work. Your dad must be proud, does he like stealing as well? He must have raised you well then. Maybe there is a farmer near him he can kill and steal his land to use for his own instead of doing his own work. Why plow your own field when you can wait for someone else to do it and just take it.

Indeed. Not gonna lie, I did download the TAR match with Shane versus Earl on the 10 footer that was posted on YouTube. But only since I couldn't get it anywhere legal....
 
I have already started on the DCMA notices to the various hosts of this retardation.

I am not sweating it actually. Life is too short to worry about what some half ass nit in some shit hole part of the world is going to do when he gets sand in his crack over some post.

Its simple economics. If people steal our stuff to the point it reduces income there just won't be anymore stuff to steal. I go do something else with my time, the players get no more money from matches, fans dont get to see those players in our format anymore and one shit bird in Croatia will still be a shit bird in Croatia.

TAR fans are the best in the world. Full stop. If anything this little ass munch motivated me to get our content available to those fans so they can get it from the source in higher quality than from some file sharing site with who knows what attached along with the files.

I am sure this can all be worked out in a nice way. Since you are so angry at TAR and think that the people of your country can't afford to pay for the content. You can obviously afford to buy it and to have a computer and go to school. Here is my suggestion.

I think if you pay for all the expenses that TAR incure for the match then I think that Justin and Mark G would be happy to give you the sole rights to do what you want in your country. Think about it you will own it in Croatia, ypour will be a national pool hero. Do it do it.

I think he meant after it was over. I'd buy a replay for sure since I missed the match. I'm sure Justin will make it happen eventually where we can get a subscription or a replay price.

I'd like a monthly thing, depending on how many matches they have in the can, something like what Bert Kinister does with his videos.
 
Its the nature of the digital world. Major film studios cant stop piracy so I have no illusions on the subject. All we can do is enforce our copyrights and create new content that people want to buy.

At some point in his life Davor Budmir here will probably put some effort into making something and someone will steal it. At that point he will whine and complain but I find the thought of that pretty spectacular.

Eventually he will find some other thing to be outraged or interested about and spend his time on that. Davor I would suggest hard drugs mixed with alcohol, cars and curvy roads.

I just posted on my Facebook page a warning to all pool fans that are my friends to make sure they do not buy or download from anyone without knowing they are authorized TAR or Accu-stats dealer or affiliated. I onlu have a about 1,600 friends but if everyone does the same hopefully the word will get out. Oh I also explained what could happen if these guys start losing more money NO MORE MATCHES! Please do the same/

I appreciate the sentiment but telling 1600 people that someone is bootlegging stuff probably will have the opposite effect you are looking for.

That whole human nature thing with curiosity and loving free stuff.
