Awesome shot by Fedor

I was watching the one pocket match between Shane and Fedor . Fedor hit an amazing bank shot, definitely a two way if he didn’t make the bank. Figured others that didn’t watch the match might enjoy seeing the shot with position.

If the link doesn’t take you to the moment I hope it does, the shot is at 10:02 into the match

However, Shane won the game..

A brilliant shot for sure from a guy who has become a maestro at one pocket. Few would have had the confidence to shoot this, as the defensive part of the shot is not so easily produced. Bravo, Fedor!

I don’t think that was a good shot. Usually that shot is played banking into the stack and moving a bunch of balls over while sending the CB 3 rails.

In this case he was going for a single bank. If he missed, the ball would have very likely bounced to the other side, colliding with the balls on the end rail and his cb, which he didn’t exactly get safe.

If Bentivegna were around I think he’d say it was a sucker shot.

Imo:)

Agree. A miss would likely be deadly for Fedor

not an unusual shot to shoot. especially for those with top ability. and not a real hard shot to accomplish.
but neither of them really plays one pocket well for their speed.

I don’t think he even considered missing the bank. It looked like he was playing position to the 6 and was upset he came up short.

He had to move the ball a lot but I think he let that one fly because of the safety. He got more conservative after that and left the long bank on the 2 and then I stopped watching.
