Az billiards classic poker tournament

omg. All in with JJ and Keith got runner, runner to build a straight and knock me out in 5th! Anyway, a great game. Some people really hung in there with small stacks. They're in the money now.
 
I got put out in 4th. Keith had A6 off against my Q8 of clubs both all in preflop (blinds are way up), and nothing came. Keith sh*t out on about 5 hands, lol. Thats poker though.
 
yep. note to self... don't try to buy kieth out of a hand unless you want to go all in. Good time though (8th grrr)
 
So.............i put on a couple beats tonight :)

When i busted Keith, i typed its like a nightmare isnt it...couple people laughed :)

Good tournament besides the insane blind levels. Next week you should set it up just a bit different. Couple more levels or 3k chips.

Great tourny everyone,I had fun.thx.Great turn out.We can have another next week.If anyone has better ideas as far as BUY-IN or TIMES feel free to speak up.
But we have no control on blind levels or starting chips.........we get what we get.

Wow that sucks. I've played in another private one that had better blinds and more chips. Thought you could change it.

$22 is fine. Best way to get more people. I wouldn't even want to put in $55 with those blinds. For me the time is perfect, hope it stays that way.

First hand I had A 6 not suited, A on the flop, I bet a little to try to push everyone off the hand. 6 on the turn, so I'm good for two pair.

Raise, reraise, all in..........

Little did I know that someone had A A, for a nice little set of rockets.

I was done and out in about 25 seconds...... :smile:

On fulltilt you can configure everything but not on pokerstars.

Blame that on vette......he flopped trip aces....lol.....bad luck on your part.

yeah, nice little double up to start. The only time I was all in and at risk of losing my stack was my last hand when I was priced in by being monster big blind and had to call.

i wold do it again! next time my aces might hold up against those pocket kings! yep a beat story! lol well maybe not! was fun though!:grin:
 
Guys lets do this more often, maybe have a monthly poker tournament for AZ Billiards members, I am in, maybe the last Sunday of the month or something. :smile:

No worries! I'm new to online poker, I actually signed up to play in this tourney. I know I made many mistakes, but without sitting down in front of people and trying to read them, I don't know how to play! :)
