February in Chicago? Are you insane? I know pool is played indoors, but, Chicago in Feb. ?
I like the 23rd gives some time to save a bit of money after the holidays. Kids are expensive. I used to work in alsip and my coworkers gf was a bartender at pockets when it was on the east side of Cicero ps I suuuuuuuck
I vote for Red Shoes. I would vote for February 16, because that is one of the days John Lavin will be working. He works every other Saturday. However, there is a bank tournament on 2/16, $500 added and it should be a full house. If a lot of people are coming maybe it needs to be on a day when there is not a tournament.
Maybe we could set up some kind of tournament of our own.
Let me know what you decide.
I talked to john and he said pick a date first but i forgot about the t tournament.
I voted for the 2/2/13.
I have a 3-man tourney at Bedrocks the weekend of the 9th. The weekend of the 16th I'm hosting the first "You're Not As Good As You Think You Are" 8 Ball Invitational in Joliet.
If it does happen on the 23rd I might be able to make it.
I voted for the 9th but can make it the 23rd as well. Doing it at Red Shoes while there is a bank tourney will never work..
I'm in central Indiana but will gladly make the trip. Put me down and let me know when. I'm guessing a mini swap meet too. Terry Aeschliman
What's the plan? I'm assuming flattening my new tip by hitting the cue ball too hard will take place but other than that run a 9 ball then a blind draw scoth doubles or something? Ill get in on some action betting on people I don't know. I plan on having a few cocktails as well. Btw is there a Nonna's pizza by this place?
damn there used to be one right by where i worked on 138th and cicero. beggars has the worlds greatest taco pizza!
