ooooo Brother

February in Chicago? Are you insane? I know pool is played indoors, but, Chicago in Feb. ?

Does your pool case match your purse? Just kidding, it's the warmest winter in years.Maybe next time.

I like the 23rd gives some time to save a bit of money after the holidays. Kids are expensive. I used to work in alsip and my coworkers gf was a bartender at pockets when it was on the east side of Cicero ps I suuuuuuuck

don't worry

It doesn't matter how good you are at pool, to me your tops cause you work and take care of your kids. It don't get any better than that

Why thank you. I'm assuming there's only a handful of us going so far? Just judging by the votes. I'm def going cause I got a new case for Xmas and I need to take it out somewhere beides my home bar lol

Red Shoes

I vote for Red Shoes. I would vote for February 16, because that is one of the days John Lavin will be working. He works every other Saturday. However, there is a bank tournament on 2/16, $500 added and it should be a full house. If a lot of people are coming maybe it needs to be on a day when there is not a tournament.

Maybe we could set up some kind of tournament of our own.

Let me know what you decide.

forgot about that.

I'll see John Lavin tonight. The 16th might be wall to wall people even without your group. I'll see what he thinks.

p.s. I voted for the 16th, too, before I checked and saw the tournament. I might want to change to the 23rd now.

I voted for the 2/2/13.

I have a 3-man tourney at Bedrocks the weekend of the 9th. The weekend of the 16th I'm hosting the first "You're Not As Good As You Think You Are" 8 Ball Invitational in Joliet.

If it does happen on the 23rd I might be able to make it.

any openings for the 8ball tourney in Joliet. Ill donate a little.

Either

I voted for the 9th but can make it the 23rd as well. Doing it at Red Shoes while there is a bank tourney will never work..

Game plan?

What's the plan? I'm assuming flattening my new tip by hitting the cue ball too hard will take place but other than that run a 9 ball then a blind draw scoth doubles or something? Ill get in on some action betting on people I don't know. I plan on having a few cocktails as well. Btw is there a Nonna's pizza by this place?

Just bring...

BRING YOUR A GAME, AND A FEW BUCKS. I love it, trash talking has started , I cant wait. Im sure a good time will be had by all.

There are no Nonnas pizza. BUT there is a Beggars Pizza (http://www.beggarspizza.com/) nearby Red Shoes that is fantastic and John has no objections to having their food delivered. I went there with The Polish Prince during the last bank pool tourney and had a great time. For those who don't know him that would be George Pawelski a true character and all around gentleman!

damn there used to be one right by where i worked on 138th and cicero. beggars has the worlds greatest taco pizza!
