Thanks Kenny for posting the pics.

I had no idea what the cue was going to look like, I got a txt message with attached pics the other morning. Im in hawaii at the moment, so it was early morning, what a great thing to wake up to, a new Barry. yay:thumbup:

i knew the veneer colors, Laurie from SW sent them to Barry for me. I just asked Barry to "Go big, dont be shy" he clearly wasn't, i couldn't be happier!! I had zero idea what to expect, i knew it was a barbell cue, until the txt i didnt know what to expect except color and barbell. Barry knows i like propellors and wanted a monster, wow thats a lot of work.

I should have it on thursday, I dont want to ship over the weekend and Holiday. We stated this project over 4 years ago, was worth the wait. FWIW this is my 1st Szam that i got brand new, I have never been the 1st owner of any Gus or Barry until now, great stater cue! :P

thanks again to everyone

Eric

Darrin has been on a 2 week vacation and was not aware that the "Cue of the Year" was going on. He asked me to post these pics I had taken this summer of this awesome burl cue.

Here we go again folks with the "AZB Cue of the Year " 2012 edition. I think we all enjoyed last year's thread even though there was some debating going on. Here are the rules:

1. Cue has to have been made in 2012
2. Cue should be owned, or at least one time owned by an AZB member
3. AZB Cuemakers can submit 1 cue they made in 2012 for entry
4. POST PICTURES OF YOUR ENTRY IN THIS THREAD BY JAN 1st

I will choose the top 20-25 cues for the poll, and post the poll soon after Jan 1st.

Happy holidays to all, and I'm looking forward to posting up the incredible cues.

refreshing

Every year it appears that we see new creativity and relatively new cue makers pushing the envelope. Great to see accurate splicing and inlay work making all these beautiful cues flow into true works of art.

my favorite cue of 2012 is Richard black venetian dream the most ornate and the most provocative cue made to date! the thought and design that went into this cue is by far the beast out there

Although I love this cue Bill, I'm certain it was built in 2011. I believe I voted for it as the "Peoples Choice" cue at the 2011 ICCS show in St. Louis. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
