Jerry is already in Chesapeake and I leave tomorrow morning. We are hosting brackets and real time scoring like last year (with one change), as well as video updates from Samm Diep and photo galleries from Diana Hoppe. Going to be a busy week.

Now for the one change; we ran into some serious stability issues with our coverage last year. I have made changes to our pages this year so that they will not be such a drain on the server when we start getting hit hard by users.

If anyone experiences problems with pages (especially brackets or real time scoring) not updating properly, please email me at housepro@azbilliards.com. Let me know what is happening and what browser you are using.

Hoping for a much smoother US Open this year.

Dianna Hoppe Photos

If you guys have not checked out the photos by Dianna Hoppe from the 2010 Open, you should take the time to look through them while you can. Dianna has a way of capturing the emotion of the moment that makes you see the personal side of these great champions. She captured the young with the old, the players with the businessmen, and the champions with those players still fighting their way to the top. These photos will be classics for years to come. The photo of Corey Deuel down on a shot is one of the best pool photos I have ever seen. The potrait photo of Diliberto was fantastic also. Dianne Hoppe needs to be inducted into the Hall of Fame herself, she has done so much for pool in recording the sport's history with dramatic and high-quality images. Thanks to AZ for having the best talent cover this event! Send her to Manila next week, ok?

We all owe you and Jerry a huge thanks . I know I had alot going on this week and could not go .It was really nice to be able to check updates on the
tables that were not being streamed .You guys did a great job as always .:thumbup2::dance:

I'll add a big AMEN to that !! I couldn't do the PPV this year and I greatly appreciated the brackets and instant scoring of matches. I do love azb!!
 
The AZ live scoring was kept up to date nicely. With just the tv table on ppv the live scoring was a big bonus. Thak you AZ Billiards. Johnnyt
 
Thank you for the "Live Scoring"! it was fun to have that constantly up during the week while working on the computer and hearing the refresh. During the finals I was upstairs while my wife was downstairs near the computer, so I asked her to keep me updated: She'd poke her head in and say 9-7 the guy who's name starts w/a D, it's 12-12, and so forth. It was so much fun.

I enjoyed the highlights for each day very much. Couldn't watch PPV due to time difference and work business, but highlights and live scoring fulfilled my thirst to full extent. Thanks for great work guys (and galz)!
