AzB's Dumbing Down

I believe that thread got yanked because non-playing pro-tour-like trolls like yourself send the thread sideways.

CJ has contributed more to this forum that your retarded contact patch diagram ever will (which, I might say, is the ONLY thing you've EVER posted that had ANY content to it --- and the content sucked, at that).

You couldn't even hold CJ's jock stap, SON, if they allowed you to use a pully, with your tranvestite-like arms. There isn't one single pool player in this fuggin' galaxy who would want to read your mongoloid-like nonsense about pool compared to CJ Wiley's posts.... and those who knock him because they don't like his style, are probably secretly going to the table to see what he's talking about.

When pressed, he always backed-up his statements, starting with offering Lou Figueroa the last "whatever" playing 10-ball for whatever, only to have Lou moonwalk backwards saying he didn't have to gamble anything anymore because he was "retired" and made sooooo many bazillions being retired from the armed forces, trying to make CJ look like a nit.... when CJ was offering the game.... and had bet more in his lifetime than Lou ever had......EVER.

Let's get back to you, Mr. Ducksuck....anyone...ever....who gets spotted 40-50 balls in local bullsh1t nonsense 14.1 leagues can literally suck CJ's balls.....literally....just so you know what time it is. I should take my grandma's handicapped parking sign and put it around your neck when you play, well...because it'd FIT.

Actually, that thread went sideways because the cte fanatics couldn't get along when math and facts got mixed in. Even the cte engineers couldn't figure out where or how to start. Sean gave up after receiving more flack while being busy in his actual job before being able to get to cte, even though he said it would be a bit.

That's one.

The insults will stop.

Are you calling the "Math Guys" people like PJ and Dr. Dave who think that 2D diagrams equal perceptions and have no clue how one's eyes have to move in order to maintain an alignment as distance increases? The same math guys who ask what's wrong with the info on their website and then when told (red-lined) where the bad info is, respond by saying, "Make your own website?"

Those "math" guys?

Nope. That thread had much more in-fighting than anything else.

I think you're a non-playing knocking troll who gets his kicks off of knocking instructors and pool champions.

That's not a very good observation.

I do play pool
Typically two, sometimes three times a week.

I'm not a troll
You're the troll, here.

I don't "knock" instructors and pool champions
Adding an S makes it plural. Unless CJ has clones, it shouldn't be plural.

By the way, you seem upset. I recommend you get some counseling for that.

Spidey,

You need to let this go and stop living in the past.

Concerning whether or not I have a clue concerning 3D perception, or how critical it is to have proper visual alignment, or how visual alignment can affect the perception of a shot, I will let people judge for themselves by looking at all of my info, videos, and articles on the eyes and vision resource page.

Concerning using 2D drawings to illustrate complicated 3D effects, it is clear you have something to learn in this regard. Often, appropriate 2D illustrations can explain everything that is going on in 3D (if done properly). For example, with a cut shot, there is only one line that goes through both the center of the CB and the outer edge of an OB (the CTEL). It doesn't matter if you illustrate or visualize this line in 2D or 3D ... it is still the same line. Now, where you place your head relative to this line (or any other line; for example, an aiming line) can change your perception of that line (per my vision center information). This effect can also be illustrated either in 2D (as shown in some of my articles) or in 3D.

BTW, please don't try to engage me in any old topic from the past ... those rotten horses have already been beaten to death countless times.

I just thought I should point out some of your inaccuracies, since you called me out (and tried to insult me) by name multiple times recently.

Catch you later (when something substantive and interesting is being discussed),
Dave

Literally all of your CTE diagrams on your website are wrong. Literally "ALL" of them. Not saying you're a bad guy -- just saying that literally that entire section is completely wrong. Would you like to hop on a webcast one time so we can go line by line on your CTE section and discuss why everything is totally wrong? I can setup a WebEx tomorrow and paste the link in this thread and let everyone watch.

EXCELLENT IDEA!

I love SCIENCE shows!

Is this "AZB Myth Busters"?

Please record this so we can all be enlightened. I don't care who is right or wrong, I like explanations and information.

Why not stop with the childish "challenges" and just talk about it here on the Aiming Conversation forum? You know, like adults.

It's not a challenge... it's a mere adult discussion. Let's talk it through in real-time so you can't stare at the submit button for an hour before taking a position. That's what adults do. You're free to join in. You guys can triangulate me.

Spidey, that is a bit ridiculous since many of the diagrams on my CTE resource page illustrate very basic effects (e.g., how bridge length can affect the result of a mechanical pivot). These effects are obviously true to anyone who understands the diagrams. Also, some of the diagrammed and animated images on the resource page are directly from actual video, which is most certainly real and undeniable.

Again, I am happy to let everyone judge for themselves whether or not all of the diagrams are wrong or not. For those interested, here's the link: billiards.colostate.edu/threads/aiming.html#CTE.

Let it go Spidey. Just because you don't agree with how I present the benefits of aiming systems like CTE or the logic behind how and why CTE works for the people who use it effectively, that doesn't mean the information is not of value to some people. Some people like seeing and hearing different perspectives. It helps them decide for themselves what might be useful in their game or not. Also, some people like to understand basic effects and learn how and why some things work the way they do. This understanding can help some people better apply various systems and techniques at the table.

Peace,
Dave

But can you do the other thing he asked, and discuss how you are going to have your discussion in the aiming conversation forum? Or shall we keep discussing where your discussion about an online adult discussion should be discussed?

Adults care about the quality of the discussion, not about putting each other on the spot for "debate points".

You're free to join in.
Maybe you haven't noticed me "joining in" constantly right here, without silly challenges - you know, like adults.

As example, let's look at the very first diagram on my CTE resource page:

CTE-fraction-diagram.jpg

Is this diagram wrong?

How about the following diagram on the CTE resource page that was actually posted by you?

Spidey_CTEShotCircle.jpg

Is this diagram wrong also?

Again, I am happy to let people judge for themselves.

Let it go,
Dave

To be fair, spideys proposal sounds reasonable - why don't you go for it?
