Bad Blood 2 - The Pearl vs The Luuuv Sponge

No I don't make challenges to people I'm likely never to meet behind a computer screen and I won't be in the 4's bracket at the APA nationals so I guess that rules out that option too.

I don't play tournaments. But I do thrive on peoples egos, people that sound like they can play. Go ahead, trap yourself..

LOL if you seriously would like to find out instead of running your mouth behind a keyboard I'll put up a $1,000 to play you. Don't kid yourself keyboard cowboy, you aren't a very good judge of anyones game looking at a screen. If you think you got the best of it just toss me a pvt and we can talk about making it happen.

Hmmmm

I wanna see this one !! I don't know either player, but me thinks I'm bettting on the "box" !!

I don't watch him in any of the BB matches or anytime because acting like he does doesn't interest me. I just go by his crap sheet from the past. His game doesn't impress me because you have all the garbage that goes with it.

That doesn't even make any sense. Say what you want about Earl's character or behavior, but if his game doesn't impress you, you're letting your emotions override your logic circuits.

If Shawn good get the 8 from Earl playing 10 ball it could be a close match. I don't think he should play Earl even......

I think Shawn would need the 8,9 and the breaks on the 10 footer and if Earl really shows up, it still won't be enough. I can't see Shawn even thinking about playing a match with Earl. He would not want the humiliation of losing to someone he hates so. JMHO

I have a GIANT collection of accu-stat matches, so I've seen both guys play quite a bit at their respective peaks.

Shawn and Earl are both "pros", but one earned that title by winning every tourney in the world, the other was given that title because he plays in the same tourneys as player A.

I'll leave it to you to guess which is which.

Not many of the people who make fun of Earl want any part of him at a pool table.

The topic of Rogan playing Earl came up after the video surfaced and supposedly Rogan wanted to play but was "too busy".

All hat and no cattle.

Rogan respects Earl and has said so, Have you seen the mans schedule, busy is an understatement.
He also knows he needs a HUGE spot, but wanted to do it for fun.

Shawn was a little out of line as a commentator.

But Earl was ridiculous as a competitor.

While Johnny was running his 140, Earl was waving his arms, yapping to the crowd, complaining about how long Johnny was taking (he wasn't). He was sitting in his chair and jumping up when any ball rattled. Complaining about the pocket sizes by forming his arms into a "V". Then he talked and talked to the audience during his run, mainly complaining about how slow johnny was playing while "making me miserable".

I don't know why the ref or the sponsors would allow this behavior. Earl is an impolite player with terrible manners. Earl is not a gentleman or sportsman.

If you are truly a friend of Earl, why don't you suggest that he work on his sportsmanship? Earl should be a legend - instead, he's disrespected. He seems to know it too - yet, he keeps acting surprised people are rooting against him.

Chris

Bravo. Bravo.

Geat post !! I bet I know, and it starts with an "E" !!

I'm not going to rag on Earl anymore.

If he really suffers from bi-polar, it's amazing what he's accomplished, and he can't completely help himself for his behavior.

I hope Earl can and does make a strong comeback, and when he does I hope everybody cuts him some slack for the nightmare he has to deal with 24 hours a day. He definitely has the tallest gear available in rotation games, and is totally fearless.

More than anything, I respect his sheer persistence.

Chris
