not unlike trying to swat a fly with a cannon.
Thanks Hunter. Pretty much the way it is. At any one time, there are always a couple of conflicting Firefox Add Ons.
Most of them a person needs. So kind of difficult to find out which one, or ones might be causing a problem.
FireFox is getting to be almost as bad as NutScrape used to be.
Pretty hard to do a FireFox Upgrade. Constant Pop Ups asking you to. Once you click on Upgrade, it virtually wipes out all of your Added Applications, like Ad Block for an example. And all your previous settings.
Useless, unless a person has half a day to go on Safari and find all your Apps again.
FireFox will always drop an Old Data Folder onto your Desktop after an upgrade.
I always find myself dropping the "Old Data" Folder back into it's original place in order to restore it to original.
Perfectly fine if a person knows how and where to drop the Original Folder in order to restore.
Just not 100% Aimed at the average user who might get lost and frustrated once they find that everything
that they had in their Browser is now Nuked.
I went to School for this Shite and I got seriously lost a few months after I got out of IT, trying to keep abreast of everything and all.
See, just in the time that it took me to type this, I received 2 Software Update Notices from FireFox.
At least I have them set to Ask me. I Dislike Pushy Programs that just go in and do their thing Willy Nilly by Default.
Oh well, at least Chrome works decently enuff.
