flyin*hymen, reveal 'yourslef'!!!! LOL!
If you saw something we didn't, praise Alah, and may God be with you!

If authenticated, I would advise you to post as many pictures as humanly possible to rub our noses in!

Me? I shriveled up around a stack, but you went long, baby!

I'm actually rooting for you at this point!!!

Holy $h!t !!!!!!! How could this cue go for that much??

For all you cue experts....theoretically, if this was a Balabushka, how much would it be worth?? I didn't think it'd be worth over $9g's even if it was a Balabushka, but I don't know anything about those cues:confused: .

ditto, ditto, JB!!!!

This cue would be in excess of $20K were it real. High side would be nearly double...

I know I'd sell a nut for it! LOL ;)

balabushka nnnnnnoooootttttt

I've got this Unknown Cue I'd like to sell. It has exactly the same veneers, bumper, joint, and rings as the $9,600 special, but is in much better shape. I'd let it go for half of what the other Unknown Cue went for... It says Richard Black on the forearm, but I can have that sanded down for the lucky winner :D !

i believe i once ownened this cue, got it from bushwacker, it was made by scruggs, not to be mistaken for a scruggs, but as a tribute to george. believe [if i remember correctly] blocks in butt were ivory. nice cue but feel sorry for anyone that paid $9,000 + for it. also several others are lucky they wern't the winning bidder. didn't pay no attension to this 1st day it was on ebay. lucky no azer's were high bidder. but obviously several were close. sureman

Don't know this buyer but his history indicates no interest in cues or any other high end items???????... Little weird.

I Have Not Read The Thread Or Any Other Replies, But I Know What It Is.

It's A Richard Black Pinnacle, One Of About 39 Or So Made. It Was Ardis Black's Favorite Design And Richard Built A Limited Number Of Them During A Few Year Period. I've Had 3 Or So, And One Was My Player For Quite Some Time.

P.s. If This Is A Repeat Of Information Already Given Then I'm Sorry.

THE SCRUGGS VERSION HAD A BIG PIN JOINT. I'VE ALSO OWNED THAT ONE.

THE PINNACLE IS IN THE MIDDLE.....ANYBODY ELSE SEE ANY SIMILARITES???

IT EVEN HAS THE BROWN BUMPER

Looks to me like we have a winner (at least to me). Richard Black Pinnacle. Thanks for the pics! Even the diamonds in the points are at the right height (little higher than what we see in other cues)

Jayman.

Well, after all, it was only "gently used"... that's gotta be worth the extra 8K. I'll have to remember that line when I sell my next cue:)

Chris

Ps. What are the odds this thread kills the sale?

^ because back in the day, a Balabushka was not extravagant. It was a couple few hundred bucks maybe.

Hal2, loving that triple date!!!! Maker?

Thanks, it is a Patek Philippe 5970.

Best Regards,
Hal

I have changed my mind a little. I think after seeing FNL's post, I think that it is a Black. Although it could be a JW. I have seen some from them that had the hump inlays off center like this one. I guess time will tell. I know it will resurface soon.
