3 shafts in original condition and nice condition also.Cue has 4 point titlist veneer with no inlay and no LOA but I know it legit.Any cue expert has an idea how much? thanks
9 to 10.5k.... BUT in this market 8 to 9
I will probably get flamed for this but- if you are not a expert and there's no LOA from pete who is a expert. How do you know it's legit? As you stated
Bottom line if you or whomever you talked to are expert enough to as to say " they know it's legit" they should also be able to determine a reasonable value . I would find it unreasonable for someone on here to be able to give to a accurate value without good pictures and a more detailed discription
Just trying to help- would hate to see another crazy I got ripped off thread from you

So anywhere between 6.5 and 8.5 is probably accurate.... BTW I understand Phil's concerns, but the letter from Pete, is an excellent idea. I try and get people who are the original owners to write some history on the cue also. There are so few original owner Bushka's left, getting that information is also very wise. I would be more afraid of giving certain cuemakers deposits than buying a Balabushka, lol...
BTW ChicagoPlayer.. I like AV but for you to use the OP's question to pimp your movie, and make some sort or correlation between your movie and TCOM is shameful.
And you didn't even address the OP's question.

Considering i grew up playing and began filming in the room where scorsese filmed keith's famous scene (chris's billiards),
with all of my mentors used as consultants and extra's..
(larry schwartz, "bugs", jimmy mataya, freddy)
and to answer to op's question, in which cue prices are directly influenced and impacted by one and only one factor- being mentioned in a film!
balabushka would be expensive but not as costly without being mentioned in the film.
Knowing that fact-
and that i am working hard to propel our sport through all media avenues available,
don't you think anything and anyone mentioned in a book or film, gets a bit more attention and prominence?
We are talking about balabushka prices- i am giving you reasoning as to why prices for bushka's are so high.
Many of balabushka's full-splice blanks came from chicago makers!
I feel no shame for my post- you are just unaware of the facts.

look lady, you are just wrong. The post was not why they cost but what. Others have opined caution. Your post does niether. It is a cheap pimp of some movie and you excuse is laughable. You played in a room where blah, blah, blah. I rarely say anything negative but this is so obnoxious and absurd.
Btw, i used a uninal in th st. Louis airport after paul newman and sat on a bench in the park lane in ny where mickey mantle was passed out drunk next to me.....about the same as your story.
Start your own thread....see if it is read

Do you and all of us a favor. Stick to your movie, and don't comment on cues which you know nothing about.
I have forgotten more about these cues, than you'll learn in your lifetime.
You came to this thread to pimp the movie, and that is it.
He asked for a price on a specific cue, not your opinion to the Balabushka market or your incorrect opinion on to why there is a market.
