Hi everyone im new to the board. Been out of the loop for a while. used to own a room in N.C. called Shooters. It has become vary obvious to me latly that I will not be able to play any more as the eyes have gone and I cant seem to get the hang of playing in glasses contacts. Anyway I have a 4point Barry Szamboti for sale. This cue is 60 inches and 20 oz. it was ordered by me in March 1990 just after Barry reopened the shop. The cue was finished on July 9 1992 and was #96 .The points are a light purple and blue. I inspected the cue this morning and the is not one scratch or mark in the cue any where . The shafts have the original tips on them and have never been shaped. One shaft has had little play and the other test hits only. This cue needs to be in a players hands not stored in a case. I dont know how to post pictures on the board but email me at jbhaney775@bellsouth.net and i will send pics. I donot have a LOA on the cue, but have a call into Barry to get one. I can show the post card from Barry to me about the cue. The price on the cue is $5500. or best reasonable offer . You will not be disapointed in this cue I promise.

I, along with probably many others would love to see some pictures if at all possible....
Was Shooters in Boone? just curious...Good luck with the sale
edited to add...I'm heading out for the evening, maybe someone else will post the pictures for you...

Gambler, being new here it might also help the sale if you state you are willing to use an escrow service.

Best of luck.

Just got off the phone with Barry. As per my description of the cue condition to him the cue is priced reasonable. I also found out some things about the waiting list to get a Barry. And the wait is a long one. If anyone needs better pictures of a certain part of the cue i'll be glad to take them. I also spoke to him about the LOA and it is not a problem. Just a little time needed to get it done if necessary. I am willing to work with a escrow service that is agreeable to both parties to make this transaction go smoothly. Open to all reasonable offers.

As to the question about the location of the room I owned it was in Franklin N.C.

I'd love to get this!

I play with a 59" cue and 'long' Barrys are not easy to find (seems like the long Gus' are easier to find, less easy to pay for...)

As to his list- I've been on it since the mid 90's. I sent him a letter recently and got no response... Maybe I made him mad at some point?

Anyway, I'd be grabbing this if I could for sure!
