Hi cue fans
Ok....this cue is simply huge. It is as new and completely unmarked and unchalked. This is an investment grade Barry Szamboti that would form the centre piece of any collection.
Description: 4 points of snakewood with 4 veneers of natural, sea green, reddy brown and black into birdseye maple. The points are inlaid with scrimmed ivory peacocks. The joint is piloted ivory with a 5/16-14 pin. Ringwork is a snakewood band inlaid with the classic ivory lazy 'S's. The wrap is red stained lizard. Butt sleeve is snakewood. At the top and bottom of the butt sleeve has once again the classic ivory lazy 'S' treatment. On two sides there are 4 ivory diamonds each, laid out in a diamond patteren with 4 ivory dots at the corners. On the two other sides are ivory framed solid gold diamonds. The butt cap is ivory and has 'SZAMBOTI' engraved into it. Two matching shafts unused and unchalked with snakewood collars in the inlaid ivory lazy 'S' treatment once again. Barry has also made these incredible ivory and snakewood joint protectors for this cue which is a very rare thing indeed but a cue of this size needed something more than plastic JPs.
