BB players Paid !

If i was Corey i would take the picture of his check crop it and electronically deposit it via photo deposit systems!

Why not? Enough info in the photo for him to deposit it and not wait another second!

Frosty should have the checks all spreed out so each one is visible and thus eligible for deposit and post the picture!

Where is the money?

All I see is some checks that have not been issued yet.

They were supposed to be issued Friday and they were pushed back to Monday. Maybe. Thats as of yesterday afternoon. Players are shitty and they are starting to talk.

To reiterate: No one has been paid yet. A week ago they were promised wires that was then changed to checks on Friday that has now been changed to maybe checks on Monday.

If someone did this to me I would lose my mind.

And IMO, if the checks are good and the money is there, they should give them FUTURE pay as an assurance that things plan on starting back up. At that point, if I were a pro, I may think about sticking around.

Most banks, if not all, will require a picture of the back of the check also.
 
If checks are under frosty control enough for that photo then easy enough to click some shots with the iphone.

If they get the checks in their hands, and they still don't pass at the bank, now the players have at least a bit more leverage, as BB will have issued bad paper, on a large scale, which is easier to prove than non-payment.
 
Scott frost was elected the players spokesman... He really had them in hand and tomorrow they will be distributed
 
All the drama bb put them through! Kicker is Federal charges if any checks bounce and who ever singed the checks will face federal charges for writing bad checks.

Nice way to give the finger on the way out!

Isn't each player owed more along the lines of 5K?

Aren't the checks (which haven't yet actually been given to the players for some reason) for 1K?

What am I missing? Sorry I'm not a FB member if all the answers are there.

Might not have moved funds in time to cover if deposited now! Plus, not full amount!

Its time to get Nasty! In my opinion! Take the picture and use it as leverage and insurance policy!

Right thanks, these checks are not payment, they are a promise of a promise to short pay. Where's the reason to celebrate? Looks like people taking advantage of the players' desperation (desperation that was caused by BB in the first place).

What's sad is that if you read his post accompanying the photo of the checks, he's very pessimistic. He talks about how is career is in bad shape and there's little hope for the future of pro pool. If these checks are a good thing, why is Scott Frost so down?

If the checks are good and the pros still feel like playing for BB I would ask that my old contract be voided and a new one from MY lawyer signed with a signing bonus and at least 4 weeks pre pay or I'm gone. Players have the ball now if checks are good...don't F it up again. Johnnyt

I don't get it. Why would you not first be pressing to be paid in full for what's owed before all this moving forward?

Players need to be
Careful depositing check for Wrong amount! Sometimes considered payment in full when depositing the check! Some states consider depositing the check as agreeing to modifications in terms of contract!

Trying to get the other 4 grand owed may be complicated by depositing the check for 1 grand!

Any lawyers feel free to chime in?

My guess is if Scott is owed $5k, 5 of those checks have his name on them. Probably easier to track financially giving 1k for each week owed, rather than 1 check for $5k.

Not all of us have access to Facebook. Could you copy and paste what Scott wrote so we can read it too?

Even if the BB players get their full back pay, they should still stick a fork in BB and move on.
