I've just been told by my half wit Australian friend that a guy from the UK won the Grand Masters but he can't remember the name

! Does anyone have any results from this event?

Cheers

I heard it was Darren Appleton. :)

Wicked he's on fire at the moment then!

Anyone know how the other bar box big guns did, SVB, Jesse, Alcaide etc?

Bowman did not show. Kirkwood is here and is in the finals.

In the women's finals, Tammie Jones VS Pam "Bell" Patton

BCA Masters Results

Are any of these other brackets available on line without having to wait for the BCA to post the final results on their website???

did shane play?

Watched SVB's match with appleton. Shane missed a couple of makeable balls in the middle of the match and couldn't quite recover as appleton played great after that.
Really like shane's demeanor and presence at the table. Even though he didn't win it was a pleasure to finally get to see him shoot in person.

Thanks Pat, wished I would've been there to see him shoot in person, it sounds like he plays lights out.

Agreed Sam! yes, they are! It is always great seeing both girls. Joenne Ashton did well, she is a sweetie as well. Hopefully they will both be back at The Windy City Open in 2007. There is going to be a good attendance as always BUT we have added money pouring in for 2007, so I expect great things this year!

Hey Sam, I saw a old face here... Remember Allie-Oop? He played in the Senior's here.

How did Pam do? That's a name that I recently inquired about since I hadn't seen her name out there for a while.

come to think of it, rachel abbink comes to mind as well...

Kristin Werner and Joe Woolford placed 2nd in the scotch doubles. Her and Joe Woolford beat Caroline Pao and her partner first round and lost with a dry break on the 2nd round, hill hill. Guess you can't get much closer. Caroline got lucky when she didn't scratch on a dumb shot in the corner pocket. Hung on the edge of the side pocket.

Team St. Louis came through again beating the five best out of England. England took First in Grand Masters and top three spots in the Masters. Not sure of the names for each event. But, they were all on the same team in the Masters. Guess that is saying something for the St. Louis team. Good playing guys. Team St. Louis consisted of Andy Quinn, Joe Woolford, Lars Vardaman, Justin Bergman, and Chuck Raulston.

Mens Grand Masters Results

1st Darryl (Darren) Appleton - Slept on him didn't watch him shoot at all
2nd Jason Kirkwood - Grinder, I saw him beat Ike, than a young spaniard, then stan tourangeau, Gande Valle and Shane Van Boening onhis way to the finals
3rd Shane was cruising through the winners bracket even the final, i stopped watching when it was like 4-2 shane because he looked perfect and confident, i thought he would sail into the drivers seat.
4th Gande "Yum Yum" Valle Republic of Phillipines very impressed with his mastery of the cueball
5th/6th James Walden and Stan Tourengeau
7th/8th Bobby Pickle & Ike Runnels
Great matches alot of fun to watch.
