I really don't know what to think at this point.

I bought a jump cue and paid for it on 4/17 or the 18th. I was told on 4/19 the Item will ship today or tomorow.

I asked for a tracking number he replied on 4/23. The reply was I don't have it here I'll send it to you later. NO big deal IMO..

So day or two later still no tracking number. I contacted him again asking if there was any luck with the number. On 4/25 I got a reply saying

"hey sorry I didn't get back I was busy with school but I seem to have made mistake I sent it to myself sorry lol it will be going out tommrow morning sorry for the incovience "

So he sent the cue to himself??? On the 27th I think it was I asked for anther tracking number. Still no number or any reply to my PM I looked at his user name and he was on here last night shortly after 10:00pm and was on today at 5:50 am.
 
Hopefully, he doesn't go by "midwikkid" or Garfoot (his name is Duane Garfoot). I got taken by him quite awhile back with the same routine. "I'm a student trying to make money...blah, blah, blah". I "bought" an Andy Gilbert J/B from him and felt bad enough about his situation that I sent ten extra bucks for the shipping. The slimeball ripped me off and gave me the same lines for a week or two and then just ignored me. He still posts on this forum and I try to be around every time he posts something for sale to stomp all over his action. I have a long memory...

I'm assuming flores9 is the member...just joined last month assuming this is the right guy. Hope it works out for you.

You need to ID the screen name to see if others have had similar issues. Hopefully, it is jusy an oversight on his part, but there have been a few shady dealings recently. If you continue to receive no response, you need to file a Paypal dispute (assuming you paid via Paypal). The amount of time that you have to file a dispute with Paypal is limited, so you should not wait. A dispute simply locks the other person's account and asks them to resolve the issue. After that, you can elevate it to a claim, if necessary.

Thanks for the reply. He had 4 positive when I bought it now has 5 positive. So I am not sure. I hope I'm wrong and it's just a lack of communication on his part. But not getting a reply back and I know he has been on here in the last night and today makes me wonder. If it's not here by Tomorrow I will file a dispute and post the sellers name.

The fact that you sent him extra $$ for the shipping and it still hasn't been sent is annoying.
Hope this works out, keep us posted.
There is still time for him to respond and send it out to avoid his rep being trashed over a jump cue.

I didn't send extra $$ I paid the intial amount and that was it. Nothing more. If he did lable it wrong and ship to himself then the second shipping is on him not me.

It's a shame too I was buying it for my son. :mad:
 
Might be a repeat problem here. I paid for a Lucasi butt and have not received it. Asked for tracking info and got the same response. Too busy with school but will ship out asap and get me the tracking number.
I noticed that the seller (flores9) has been on the site since then but has not contacted me with any shiping info so I just opened a dispute with Paypal.
I would hope that the seller will step up in your instance. If not, then I would suggest opening a dispute and then immediately escalate the dispute to a claim as I have done.

If you have time enough to come on here selling stuff, you should have time enough to ship it and provide your customer with a tracking #.
Selling on the forum is a privilege.
The rest of us do not like to see that privilege abused in any way.

flores9 I would suggest you get these buyers taken care of today.

Jump Cue

Sucks that your son was going to be the beneficary of this sale. If it will help I have a pretty nice Stealth jump cue that I had listed for sale a while back at somewhere around $70.00
These are great jump cues as most here can attest to.
If you dont get the jumper from flores9 and you get your money back I'll let this go for the $40.00 you paid for that one.
This offer is only good for you and your son so please don't anyone else pm me that you will take it if he doesnt want it.

yooo guys i am the guy they are talking about they did pay me and i know it has been my fault about not shipping the things out yet. this has been my finals week at lewis university and i have been running around like chicken with my head cut off please i dont like to be portayed as a person that does no live up to his end of the bargain. i am sorry that i have not been able to ship it out today is thursday 3:38 pm i will post up tracking numbers on this thread as well as pm them to the reciver no later than
10:00 pm on friday not if this is not done i will refund both buyers and still send out the cues to them. does everyone agree

If this is the case, you should have informed your buyers that before accepting the deal and taking the money. You know when your finals are or at least finals week. This way they will know when you plan on shipping the items. A PM or phone call would have been quick and helped here.

I empathize with you, but...

1. You knew you had finals when you posted the items for sale.

2. You had enough time to get your paypal money.

3. You stated that, at least to one buyer, you mistakenly shipped the item to yourself.

I don't know what you are majoring in, but I hope it is not Marketing or Business. You should have informed your buyers, before accepting their money, that shipping would have to be delayed until after your finals were over. That may have had an impact on their decision.

You are not the only person to ever have finals...life (and business) goes on.

YOU WERE PAID ON THE 18TH.... NO WAY YOU DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO SHIP SINCE THEN, THAT'S A LINE OF B.S., AND WE ALL KNOW IT.

MAN UP THAT YOU MADE A MISTAKE, SHIP EVERYTHING TOMORROW USING EXPRESS SHIPPING, AND GET THIS RECTIFIED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

YOU ARE NOT BE "PORTRAYED" AS ANYTHING. THE BUYER STATED THE FACTS, AND YOUR ACTIONS CAUSED THIS THREAD.

Everyone makes mistakes but bullshit excuses are not acceptable, do the right thing. While in time you may be able to rebuild your reputation take this lesson to heart, and live and learn, doing this will serve you well throughout your life.

Think about it, this makes very very good sense.:smile:
