He's playing Russian Kenny for 8k this weekendIs Ron Casanzio over 70? He just won a Predator tour stop in Toronto, beating Jason Klatt and some other 700 + Fargos along the way. He still plays great.
Varner will play a race to 3 in 1P, take over six hours for that, then do it all over again till everyone else falls deadOutside of having a completely debilitating physical or mental medical
Issue in your 70s and beyond - where you give up the game entirely; no matter how well one can still execute at that age - very few if any player 70 and beyond would have the physical and mental stamina to compete at a pro winning level for hours and hours a day over the stretch of a multi day tournament or gambling session.

Several of us 70+ will play a 12hr match
My Saturday one pocket opponent and I play a 3 ball rule,as soon as 3 balls or more are in the kitchen we spot up all but 2 makes the games go much faster and cuts down on safe, safe safe.Be enjoyable to see Varner & Efren play one pocket. /But without the Varner Wedge.

One pocket fans enjoy watching highly defensive/strategic games because 99% of us aren't Tony Chohan or Fedor and can't run 8 and out everytime we get up.I am really curious if ANYONE (other than maybe Nick himself) enjoys watching 1p when the Varner wedge is in play? Completely unwatchable to me.
