Best Current Pool Players 70+ Years Old?

Outside of having a completely debilitating physical or mental medical
Issue in your 70s and beyond - where you give up the game entirely; no matter how well one can still execute at that age - very few if any player 70 and beyond would have the physical and mental stamina to compete at a pro winning level for hours and hours a day over the stretch of a multi day tournament or gambling session.
Varner will play a race to 3 in 1P, take over six hours for that, then do it all over again till everyone else falls dead🤣
Several of us 70+ will play a 12hr match

I'm 81, and the main problem is consistency. Some weeks I'll easily beat 600+ Fargo Rated players and win our local non-handicap tournament, but then the next week I'll go 2 and out while dogging shots that a small child could make. I only wish I could combine my current stroke mechanics with the motivation / focus I had as a 30 year old.

My Saturday one pocket opponent and I play a 3 ball rule,as soon as 3 balls or more are in the kitchen we spot up all but 2 makes the games go much faster and cuts down on safe, safe safe.

I am really curious if ANYONE (other than maybe Nick himself) enjoys watching 1p when the Varner wedge is in play? Completely unwatchable to me.

Davenport and Varner are still playing pretty darn good.

One pocket fans enjoy watching highly defensive/strategic games because 99% of us aren't Tony Chohan or Fedor and can't run 8 and out everytime we get up.

there is a big difference in a strategic game which has a lot of appeal to watch and learn from

and a big stall game with a wedge or such so you wear your opponent down so much he sells out because you are such a shithole to play against.
why not just go to the bathroom for ten minutes after every shot when they play that wedge thing. force the t.d. to do something about players that purposely stall games.
