I've played with Triangles for many years. There is no doubt it's a great tip. But it's not my favorite tip.

The Tiger Onyx is awesome. It's very firm, yet not hard. Holds its shape absolutely and chalks nicely. The best thing about it is the feel of impact. It hits with a firm, solid thud, with just the right amount of feedback. It actually reminds me of the hit of a good Triangle, yet it has the benefits of a layered tip.
