Best Hitting Cues Survey - Please Reply

you could name any name and it wouldn't mean jack to the next guy. Truthfully, most cues even productions cues play well, and once that cue becomes a part of you, that becomes the best cue......... but only for you. The cue Mr. Petree made for me does just fine....

Well i havent played with every cue makers cue, but for now i will go with:

*McDaniel
*Carmelli
*Tim Scruggs
*Schon
*Mike Webb
*Tascarella SR [havent shot with a JR]

best hitting cues

unless you happen to come across a signed cue from any of the cuemakers that belong to a cuemaking association such as http://www.internationalcuemakers.com/ as your very first cue you are more than likely going to change your cue weight / tip / shaft / itself to meet your own playing needs. in all the cues I have played with schon, mcdermott, schuler, predator, j. olney, kirchsner, viking, production sneaky-pete, samsera, bar cue, etc. in no real order samsera, j. olney, kirchsner are my top 3.

Ive tried, P. Mottey, Ive tried Jackson, Pechauer, Jacobys, as far as custom cues go..

Ive tried Lucasi/Players, Mcdermott, Meucci, Stealth, schmelke, and O.B. as far as mass Produced cues go..

So far my favorite is any decent 18.5oz butt, with a Predator Z shaft..

I know there has to be even better high performance shafts out there then the predator ...

Theres, Tru hit shafts, dominator shafts, mezz hybrid shaft , lucasi hybrid shaft, mcdermott intimindators and so on, ob shafts, tiger shafts .......

WHO has played with a Predator for a while, then SWITCHED to a shaft that has low deflection, yet, out perform a predator shaft ????????

Anyone with a answer let me know what shaft you choose via pm thx !?!?!!?

Frey SP's

Bob Frey Sneakies!!!

I need some feedback about Frey Sneakies. Can you describe the shaft taper on the Bob Frey Sneakies? I'm used to a long pro taper as I've been playing a Pechauer with the 314/2 shaft and the Predator 314's long taper is really comfortable for me (12-13" pro taper @12.75mm) . I'm interested in the Frey Sneaky Petes because of everything I've read has been so positiive as far as feel and feedbeck, balance, etc.. And it seems like you're well acquainted with them and obviously like the way they play. I just can't locate anyone in my area that has or even used a Frey. I've located a dealer and Bob and he have set up a nice operation offering a myriad of different woods and options for his SP's. They are very reasonable priced.
What I do know from everything I've read and in discussing the options with the dealer, Frey and Scruggs go way back and , according to the dealer will still get together for trips when they buy their shaft wood, etc.. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but I'm not sure if the taper I'd prefer would compromise the hit or performance. I'll be posting a thread asking for feedback as well. But but anyinfo you can give me would be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
KII
