Honorable mention on votes:
Skip Weston
older Joss
Olney
Meucci
Lambros

Everybody may want Herceks and Searings but
either not enough people can afford them or they
don't hit that great. ( I'd sure like to find out though)

I recently hit with the Joey Bautista sneaky pete made for ShaneS and that cue is a stone cold player. :)

Here is the SP made by our very own joeyincali (Joey Bautista) the other two cues are my South West and ShaneS's South West.

Three of the best hitting cues ever made.....:)

The voting is of course skewed, simply because most people can't afford a Searing, Hercek or a few other more-$$$ cues. Also skewed because some of limited access to cues by fantastic cue-makers like Murray Tucker.

Well, I think you're probably right. Tascarella got even
fewer votes than Hercek & Searing and they didn't
get many. There were some pricy sticks on the list,
however. Kersenbrock, B. Szamboti. Schick & Southwest
aren't cheap. I found out recently that the type of Schick
I'd like to have( somewhat fancy) is well over my head,
even used ones.

I miscounted!!!

Bender got 4th place rather than 7th. Sorry AZers and Mike Bender.
I've got 3 of those cues, 2 of 1. Of those 4 my ratings would be
1. Scruggs
2. Mottey
3. Scruggs SP
4. Bender
The Bender is just too stiff for me.
The only really stiff one I like is Johnny Walker.

I agree with you. Most of the shafts are 13mm and have a conical taper.

I've started taking the stiffness out of my Bender shafts as my game has changed. Still love the Bender cues for the blance and precision that he puts into them.

Cues are like putters - everyone thinks the one they play with is the best, a very personalized feel.

I play with a Lambros - my personal favorite "feel."

Not sure what you mean by taking the stiffness out
of your shaft? Please explain. Thanks.
I posted this once already and it disappeared????
