I personally like something similar to a pro taper but many top players like a very stiff hitting cue. I always let everyone hit balls with all my cues, and the one that everyone likes best, especially the hit, is my Olney 6 pt cue. I'm not going to try to describe the taper but suffice it to say that it hits very stiff. They have to be one of the best hitting cues, and they are still reasonable but the waiting list is getting long...Tom
