I would like to know AZers' opinions about which J/B is considered to be the best hitting one in terms of break and jump...thank you and Merry Xmas to all....Costas

Even though I do own a j/b and have owned several others, I think they are the dumbest thing ever. I believe you should have a dedicated break cue and a dedicated jump cue, I mean you don't see a golfer using a wedge/putter combo do you? Of course this is just my opinion.:D
 
Varney, especially after my shoulder surgery. I don't have to work hard to get results... which is perfect since I can't physically break hard yet.
 
Honestly Varney is am amazing cue you must try it for your self.... breaks and jumps very well, its as good as money in the bank..... I just got one and its amazing.....

VARNEY definitely. I've had them all from Predator to Gilberts to Stingers Omen to XBreakers to Heartbreakers. And the Varney is the best by far. Don't know why. Not into the technical aspects. Just know it solved my problem with breaking and making a ball or two on the break and being able to sit the cue ball down after the break.

i think the X-breakers jump the best and as someone else said i like a dedicated breaker.although right now i have a Mike Stacey j/b that i really like.

Love my Gulyassy Sledgehammer. I went from an original 1st version to the newer Samsara design and, to me, they are identical in performance. Very easy to jump with and breaks great. *

* you have to like (or get used to) phenolic tip cues.
 
I guess Mr. Varney is by far the best! So... whoever has one for sale pm me... thank you all azers for your replies to my thread...i hope it was enlighting to others too...even though i havent tried a Varney, i will say: keep up the good work Mr. Varney!
 
New around 350 I think. He's pretty flexible unless he's already built it and is ready to sell. Ask him :p
