Best looking pool table

What pool table do you like the most based solely on appearance? I have always been partial to the Brunswick Ventura, but I think my favorite is the Connelly Ultimate. I know Diamonds are suppossed to play well, but they definately take the cake for ugliest tables in my book.

Hopefully mine will be when it is finished!!!!!!!!

Gold Crown I

Corvette, Electron Blue Metallic skirts, aprons and ball box.

Escalade, Pearl White legs and support.

All metal parts - Chrome plated.

New: cushions, green/blue 860 Simonis, black Brunswick pockets.

Set up by Ernesto Dominguez with 4" pockets.

So my vote is for a Gold Crown I !!!!!!!

Russ..........

What people lean toward when it comes to appearance can be very subjective, as with anything else, but this table is a good a looker as any. I prefer green Simonis cloth myself, with good lighting, and tight pockets,

Leather drop pockets really give it that classy classic look as well.

Please post pics when it's done, okay? I really would like to add a game room here, but I also hate...absolutely & completely hate, the life's disruptions of a remodeling project. I'll probably be mulling this one over until I die. That said, "Best looking" is really a judgement call, personal aesthetics. Table brand? Brunswick for me...and since I don't like "bling", I'd probably go for gold crown tournament model.

To me, there's nothing better than a Kim Steel.

You can see my own KS table thru the link in my sig.

then we have different tastes. thats a diamond table.

im customising my diamond to , so it looks better.
evyerthing will look like ebony but with the grain of oak,
and the toprails will have an maple-holy look with the same oak grain.

total cost to do the thing, around 100$ , and u have some working material at home im sure the cost could be halved.

ill show the pics when the table is finished.

ps here is how my blinds look so far: (attachment)

I'm fond of the sturdy but elegant "club room" styling of the AMF/Renaissance "La Paz"

http://www.dannyveghs.com/renaissance/la_paz.jpg

or the Olhausen Remington:

The La Paz is more ornate and about twice the price of the Remington, which is what I have.

A structural plus is that the big square legs support the slate directly, which is unusual for a furniture table, and which should make it play a little more like a tournament table.

The Brunswick Ventura is a good looking table.

Are you saying that all Diamonds are ugly, or just their furniture-style ones? I like their commercial ones.

I have an Olhausen Remington in TMM with a graphite rail. I myself think it's great looking but as people say, looks are subjective.

As the saying goes.... "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and to me the Diamond Pro Am is a great looking table as I "see" a table with a truly elegant look in both its functionality and clean lines.

I don't personally like what I have seen from diamond in general, although Solartje's table is nice looking. I really don't like the look of the tournament diamonds seen on tv more than any others. To me they look like something from the '70s. I am not real fond of their house tables either. They are similar to what most other companies do in general, but more boxy.

I was reminded of the connelly Ultimate while watching some old 1995 Gordon's events on ESPN classic. I have always loved the look of that table.

Certainly looks are subjective, and my statements aren't meant as negativity towards anyones tables, just talking likes and dislikes. Wanted to know what most other people see as a "nice" table. It is really interesting to see the different tastes people have. Some of the tables shown here I really like, and some I would not want in my house if they were given to me. That is what makes life interesting though.

I guess it's cuz I came up playing on these tables, but I always liked tables with just plain black rails, and either chrome-ish silver or gold pocket caps.
These gandys are a good example:

The whole woodsy look just never did it for me, nor do I care for elaborately carved legs and leather net pocket drops. Give me shiny and reflective black & chrome. I also like proper large rails rather than the anemic looking thin rails you see on some models.

No offense, but that table looks like an "air-hockey" table. :D

I guess I should qualify my answer. I was talking about modern, commonly available tables.

If we want to talk about favorite table of all time...well there are a few contendors like the BBC Kling, BBC Hudson, BBC Monarch,...,etc.

Did you know that Golden West makes reproductions?

Well stated sir and your post is a good one that should offer you a variety of input that may influence your likes and dislikes in order to make the best choice for you (which is the most important):) ;)
