Best magazine subscription?

I'm looking for a subscription to a magazine but don't know which ones are the best. I've found:

Pool Digest
The Break
Pool and Billiards Magazine
Inside Pool
Billiards Digest
Inside English
Stroke

I get skiing magazines, and I know that SKI and SKIING are published by the same company, and have virtually the same information in them each month, so I only take SKI.

Is there a better magazine? Or something with more local news in it for where I live (Eastern Washington)?

I have one to Billiards Digest which I enjoy. There is on online (free, I believe) at www.onthebreaknews.com which appears to cover the western US. You can check it out and see what you think.
 
Billiards Digest Discount for BCAPL or USAPL Members

I read several of the billiards publications, my passion but also a major componant of my job. The regionals are also good to read due to their local and area tournament coverage and guides.

BD and Inside Pool are both great. Probably BD may be more useful for improving your game.
 
I had the same question before. I am kinda of old fashion that perfer to read the physical materials like magazines.

If BD is the best, I think I am gonna to sub. it.

But is BD better than all others???
 
Calgaryplayer, I agree with you. I like online stuff, but you can't take your laptop everywhere, and a hard copy is good for those places where you like to read when there's nothing else to do.....like waiting in a doctor's office, getting a pedicure, soaking in a bubblebath, camping, while utilizing the throne room,etcetera, etcetera.

Inside Pool is good, but Billiards Digest is still in a league on its own. The others aren't close, IMO (but my opinion is partial, because I write for BD).

I emailed Holly, no response. :confused: Moving on.

I can get a years subscription to BD for $30 through Amazon. I guess I'll do that.

My cat has MICE. :eek:
