I normally don't do this kind of thing, but I just got home from a league tournament where I shot my first 8 ball perfect score match. And I was dying to tell someone that understands what that means.

We were in the semi's, tied 2-2 and I was shooting the 5th match. It was a 5-3 race. My opponent won the lag and broke. He dropped a ball on the break, then ran 3 and missed. He never shot again. I ran that rack, broke and ran the next 3 and snapped an 8 on the break for the match.

Winning that match bumped our team winnings by $1000 also.

And to top it off, my new baby daughter was there on my first Father's Day to help me celebrate. What a phenomenal day!!

I know the feeling, and it will last a long time! Thirteen years ago my daughter was born at app. 10a.m. The same day was the city bar table championship that I had qualified for, and was to start at 11:00. My wife had to go into surgery and she told me to go to the tournament, she would be unconscious anyway. So I went and won it! $1000! After being up all night too. Got back to the hospital in three hours (had 16 of us qualified for the final rounds) just as she got out of surgery. Seems like it was yesterday after all this time!

Now that's a wife that understands our addiction! And that's some win given the high you must've been on.
