Yes, I use the cue ball and three object balls. I'm not a fan of hitting object balls from my personal sets with a cue for a variety of reasons. But do you use the cb as a cb? I forgot to add that. It actually sounds even more fun without cb

Do you really think the Chinese knockoffs are made with the same resin Aramith uses and are of the same quality? The guy already posted the knock off Measle Ball has flat spots on the dots. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" certainly applies here. If you want to be cheap and roll the dice, go for it but with things like this it's usually a pay me now or pay me later situation meaning, you'll be replacing these with the real thing sooner or later so you may as well buy the real thing.Buy what you can afford, if it is round, roll in straight line. It works.
Some companies spend big dollars on advertising, and end used pay for said advertising.
Generic is not bad, it is same as Brand Name less advertising cost.
Many generic products are made by same people who over charge for brand name.
Incorrect.. . Cheaper items are not identical to top end products.Buy what you can afford, if it is round, roll in straight line. It works.

Yeah.. I have a buddy who keeps buying sub $1000 mountain bikes.Do you really think the Chinese knockoffs are made with the same resin Aramith uses and are of the same quality? Sugar is sugar. I understand you like to impress your country club buddies.Incorrect.. . Cheaper items are not identical to top end products.
manufacturers are smart enough to differentiate their premium products in some way from their lower offerings or items that they provide to other retailers for rebranding.
Companies don't shoot themselves in the feet's by betraying the products that they have spent a lot of money developing and bringing to market. They have to protect their investment and that's just basic common business sense
In this case, a Measle Ball is not a Measle Ball. I've not had (of have I heard) an Aramith Measle Ball get flat spots yet the Chinese knock off does. Please explain to me how these are the same? You spew your frugal propaganda yet you'd probably be the first one to loudly complain if your room bought a bunch of these cue balls and one rolled off on you.Sugar is sugar. I understand you like to impress your country club buddies.
I can guarantee you the balls I posted are not made by Saluc (manufacturers of Aramith, Brunswick Centennial and Predator Arcos II) or XinBiing (manufacturer of Cyclops and Dynaspheres). Spare me the "it's all the same" nonsense. But many generic brand, or house bands are from same source, different label on packaging.
Some people never learn and what they don't realize is they are spending more money over time on the inferior products in the form of replacement or repairs.Yeah.. I have a buddy who keeps buying sub $1000 mountain bikes.
They do not ltolerate what he does to them for very long.
Agreed. That's what is appealing about Dynaspheres: EXACT same resin on all their sets. Pricing of each set is determined by the intricacy of design and inlay. I think my next set purchases will be the Dynaspheres Bronze and the Rhodiums, which appear to the the three dart design like the Arcos II minus the hideous Predator logo. This is just a WAG here but i bet if you were able to access the formulation(s) of those cheap-ass ko balls you'd see that while yes, they may be phenolic, they have a very low phenolic content. With balls as good as the Dynasphere Bronze for a c-note why jack with some alibaba-and-his-40 thieves-express bullshit? I guess locococo will answer that for us.![]()
The Rhodiums use that funky silver/gray 6-14balls. Wouldn't give what they want for them. The Bronze are a no-brainer for the $.Agreed. The gray doesn't bother me but the Tungstens...ouch. No thanks. The Rhodiums use that funky silver/gray 6-14balls. Wouldn't give what they want for them. The Bronze are a no-brainer for the $.
I did the same. That black spotted ball is superior to their red measles ball.I like the black spotted ball that ships with the Aramith Tournament Black Set. I got one for my table and use it with the traditional set-

I’ve recently heard from someone I consider in the absolute highest regard of reputable sources that the Aramith red circle cue ball just does not stay as round as the Aramith measle cue ball. Good enough for me.That could certainly be true and probably likely really.. Do you mean the red circles suck or the measles balls? I have always liked the red circle balls...
I've seen weight differences but not this. Never heard of one getting out-of-round. First i've ever heard of this.I’ve recently heard from someone I consider in the absolute highest regard of reputable sources that the Aramith red circle cue ball just does not stay as round as the Aramith measle cue ball. What is the difference?I've never liked the RC's. Like BlueCircle, measels, or the Aramith red-logo.
