Best Mechanical Bridge

On a second note, what do you guys think is the best bridge head / bridge
I guess that's very much a personal preference. Personally, I like the moose head, bat bridge, Spinali, or what every you want to call it.

Just get yourself a Moosehead bridge from Ozone Billiards for $1.95. I got one in every case I own. I just take some sandpaper and sand off any burrs caused by the molding process. I have used this bridge head for many years without one single scratch or ding coming from it. And I can say that I have extensive use out of one because I used one on about half the shots I took when I had serious shoulder problems. I have seen this bridge head used on WPBA television matches too. Geez, if it's good enough for pro players, wouldn't it suit your needs? I really don't think you can go wrong with any plastic or leather or brass bridge head if it is kept in good condition. Checking for dings or burrs in the bridge head is the key.

My only problem with the Moose, I always leave them at the pool hall/bars, so I go thru a few of them a year. Can't remember to take em off the house cues.

the moose head, mostly because it fits easily in just about any case.

i like the justa and the stretch, but i don't play enough on 9' tables to warrant anything like that.

"Moose head" bridge. I took some 600 then a couple of strokes with some 1000 wet/dry sandpaper wrapped around an old shaft and smoothed all the places a cue slides. There is a little "flashing" or ridge where the the forks are that can scratch or scar a cue. I don't leave them at the room as I put it on my break cue when I need it. My second choice is a standard leather bridge.

That's why I put mine on my break cue... and just take it off when it's my break... and put it back on when I have to use the bridge next time... and so on.

Gots ta go with the moosehead. Cheap, safe and very convenient. I too sanded the mold seams down and "polished" the glide surfaces with high grit sandpaper. Made a great bridge better.

Mooseheads work great, easy to put in your case & easy to (put on/take off) any cue... I bought several from >>>>>RACKEM<<<<<<<< and they were well worth a few dollars...
