Best Player in state - simplified and on track

steve moore and tony watson both live in spartanburg, sc. and adam pendley doesnt even hold a stick to brian white

I have to disagree, respectfully of course. I have played both Adam and Brian. Neither of them have to miss a ball for a week, and I think either of them could win a match against the other at any given time. Why do you think that Adam "can't hold a stick to Brian".

Yeah i remember Martin Warren he used to play in the 9 state tourney at Billiards of Springfield. Another really good one Jerry Dicken he always placed high in the 9 state tourney that was a Great Tournament this whole town was crawling with action for weeks before and after that one. Darren plays pretty sporty to have a 50 hour a week job! Darren came back and won the state championship in 9 ball last year. What a feat for a fifty year old how did Andy Quinn do?

Andy was barred for winning it too recently, for the second time. The first time he won he was 15.

I like Darren. No disrespect. Just let me know when the money is posted, this would be a great game.

What about Jeff Abernathy for NC. He's probably not the best but he could definitely hold his own with about anyone mentioned in the list from NC.

I think you forgot one, John Gabriel from Tulsa plays even with McMinn and probably has the biggest break in OK.

Dam Thanks for reminding me, I can't believe I didn't put him in....i remember thinking about him while i was doing it too. I know him and his wife and son, their little boy when he was about 5 or so had a neat circus trick, BET MONEY the kid could make you yawn. Sounds ridiculous but its true lol...i didn't believe kimmie(johns wife) and quickly found out that the kid has an unstoppable technique:grin:

John is very good player. At least when I lived there he only showed up at the pool hall every so often. But everytime he gets in the box he's ready...great player, always a threat to win.

I believe Karen Corr moved out of PA. Heard it when she was introduced today in the semifinals of the Pacific Coast Classic. Dave Daya can take her place. I believe his high run in straight is 323. He was invited to last years' World Straight Pool Championship at Comet Billiards. He also had four 100+ runs in the same day last weekend.

For Illinois clarification Jamie and James Baraks are the same person, also Tommy Hernandez should definately be on that list as well.

"Pennsylvania - (Pat Mcnally, Eddie Abraham, Karen Corr, Jerry Slivka)"

Dave Daya is better than all of them.

Arizona

I think Rodney Morris is living in AZ now and running a new pool league.

Morro is a very good player, but he's not in Jose's league.

i like jose's and ernesto's games, but they are getting up there. truth is i haven't seen them play much recently. but, i don't care what anybody says, if he gets his head screwed on strait and hits some balls i like tang-- especially for all around. morro is one of the worst one hole players ive ever seen (besides hemma) among good players-- i mean i guess he aint too bad, but he shoots some funky ass shots.

make a whole new thread for this subject

I think this thread should be made into a new thread. there are sooooo much incorrect information its unreal.

I'm not sure if it's still the case, but when I spoke to Jamie a few months ago, he said he was living in Florida.
