1) Alex
2) Dennis
3) Tony

I know he ain't young man river, but bata can't make top 5?

as an aside, what happened to the freezer?
I'm only so hip, but seemed like for a minute he would've been at least a contender for t5.

Frost is not playing full time anymore....and Efren is semi-retired.
...either one could have a flash-back...but under-dogs

Alex Pagulayan, Corey Deuel, Tony Chohan, Denis Orcullo, Justin Bergman

Alex,Dennis, tony,Efren and myself

Unfortunately I loseso much betting on myself that
I am having trouble being objective

if Billy beats Efren I will have to adjust my thinking

They are all going to be in New Orleans at Buffalo's Billiards in a couple of weeks for the best One Pocket Tournament on the planet.

Yeah, how can Bata be excluded? If he's lost 15% of his ability, that still leaves him numero uno.
1. Pagulyan
2. Chohan
3. Efren (assuming he's down more than 15%)
4. Dennis
5. Tie...Shane and Filler( on shooting, not so much 1 pocket smarts)

In no order I’d say:

Dennis
Alex
Tony
Busty
Efren

Gotta include Efren..
especially if he beats
Billy.

I agree if they are shorter races only. Long races wear Efren down. That's were Billy has the edge, IMO. Races to 3/5 Efren is right at the top, but races to 10 and up...? not so much.

But, I would rather watch Efren, than any other player alive today. The man can put you into spots, you never thought possible. No.1 at the safety game.

alex, tony, dennis, bustie, shane

how can some of you not mention the current dcc back to back champ? blasphemy..

efren is the goat but i have no clue on his current speed

This thread underscores just how difficult it is to compare players in a game contested so infrequently.

In the last three years, those who, in my recollection, have at least reached the final at Derby City, are Bustamante, Pagulayan, Deuel, Bergman, and Thorpe, so perhaps they are the ones. Then again, Chohan, Daulton and Orcullo have all had a third place finish and SVB is still a force in one pocket.

... but are these the best? Efren's the best ever, but what's his current speed?

Tough question here to be sure.
