richard neighbors for 2500 you would get a fancy cue from him.
they hit good i have played with one for 12 years or so.

Capone, Scruggs, Gilbert. Thats just my personal opinion. Try a few and see what you like and works for your game and stroke.

I don't know how much the Skip Weston cue worth right now but for me it is one of the best hitting cue.And of course,Schon!

James White, Skip Weston, Fanelli, Scruggs, and a plethora of others.. $ 2500 is a nice number that will get you a lot of choices.

I have heard a lot of things about Bluegrass cues and that they play well? I like a real stiff hitting cue. Thanks for the input, keep it coming. thanks, clint

Schon, Joss or some Viking cues play well and they are well under 2500:sorry::):grin-square::grin::rolleyes:

cored cues are consistant hitters,do a little research as how the cues are constructed.i switched to building all my cues with hardwood cores a few years ago,so that they all wood hit consistantly.this is why the old school splice points hit more solidly, different woods hit different due to the densities.laminations in the cue create more stable and solid hits.

Great cues, nice guy.

Wes Hunter builds a helleva stiff hitting cue.

SW cues are really stiff as well.

I like the following for players cues:

1. Jim Buss
2. Mark Bear
3. Richard Black
4. Ray Schuler
5. Rick Howard

Of those I've hit with but haven't owned yet... I like.

Cognoscinti (Joe Gold)
Southwest
Joss West
RC3 (Richard Chudy)

I would agree with several of the aforementioned cuemakers. But I would also include Mike Lambros in the discussion.

STIFF...Cues which come "stiff" from the maker include, but isn't limited to, ZYLR, SUGARTREE, SW, BENDER, BRICK, MASON H., GINA, etc,.

In addition the majority of custom cue makers can make a "stiff" cue as per your order.

cues

try a basic plain jane Tad, In my opinion you cant get a better cue.
give it a try sometime.

But how can we contact those cue makers above? Except Scruggs, the others don't have their own websites. Also, given the huge demand they receive, can we expect to get own order within 1 year?
