I've posted this about 10 times. Online Gaming is no more illegal than it was two years ago or anytime for that matter. It has always been illegal but pretty much an unenforceable law. All the act did was make it illegal for US banks and credit card companies to process online gaming transactions. Now several new intermediaries have popped up making it just as easy to get money to and from poker sites. I have no problem depositing and cashing out on several sites. Try epassporte, works great. If you don't want to link any of your accounts, then you can always western union.

i got my bet down i'm on shane getting 5/4. This cool having the action here on the net and watching a true line devlop the past week, in the future I know this will happen more and more often-getting a true line. In my case I wont disclose the amount of the bet or who I made it with but I'm not worried about getting paid or paying if I lose, this is whats great the internet will give us all a true line and we can bet with people we know and trust, it can be face to face in a local pool room or across the country, thats the beatuy of it the lines will be public but the action in somecases will be private. Does it get any better? I think this is the best thing to happen to sweat bets ever!!! Good luck to all especially Shane and me.

I completely agree. I can get a bet down with a fair line and not even have to go to the pool room. Technology rules.
also we all need to support the actionreport for making this happen, I hope it works wel for them and they make $$$, they earned it. Were all going to benefit from it in the future, it opens up a whole new world for rail bets all over the world, I hope others do what they are doing there is enough business and action for others. This kind of event/challenge will promote pool in a different way than just tournments as it is a heads up game, look at the earl/efren race years ago its still being talked about now, that means the fans loved it and will embrace all future events.
The biggest limitation isnt players ready to play, i believe its going to be band width for streaming video. But over time that will be sorted out. I truely believe that there will be alot more of these types of matches in the future if we support them. Speaking for myself I like this better than a tournment-I love long races. Even if the players arent at the level of Cory and Shane there will still be interest, this suits 14.1, 1P, 9B,10B etc.
the down side is it keeps people at home while the match is on instead of being at the poolroom, if I had a pool room I would buy it and air it for my customers. Honestly how can this not work? its easier than organizing a huge tournment, it creates action and stimulates players to play so they can be in a match. Who wouldnt want to watch John Schmit, Archer etc?.
