JAM said:I do not believe Kevin Trudeau is trying to make a quick buck by snatching $899 from pool players for lifetime membership in the IPT to fatten his pocket book. There is no money in pool as it currently exists today. We all know that. Do you think that this guy is trying to gnaw on a pool bone with not much meat on it to make a profit? I sure don't. He's taking a gamble and hoping that by having a tour of this size, it will catch on and grow in popularity. Any profits he could realize will only come in due time and well after the fact....I've read about a lot of public figures who are scrutinized in the press.

Guess it doesn't hurt that the promoter and financial supporter has a #1 NY Times Best Seller book.

iusedtoberich said:Ok. We shouldn't turn this thread into another "drug" thread. I will trust the points you made about how smoking could possibly help in some cases. But you have to look at the whole picture. If cigarettes were never invented, there would be MUCH less people dying from "cigarette induced illnesses" than the small amounts of people that cigarettes could possibly help.
The reason I brought it up was because the character of the tour promoter was brought into question. We have discussed this many times, and one important point to keep in mind was made by someone in one of the many threads: That is, nearly EVERY multimillionaire is unethical in some way or other.
