Beware of the wheelchair!!!
we had a player in a wheelchair show up in Memphis TN at HighPocket's last night...
an angry spikey haired 50ish' short fellow in a wheelchair wearing glasses named Mike driving a "greyish" Chrysler 300 with Illinois tags...
immediately wanting action, set him up with the game of his asking, (in other words he got the game he wanted each time), this guy dropped some names from Chicago, (Rocketman, Bugs, Joey Gold etc.) and proceeded to *****, complain and moan about the tables, cues, cloth and anything else he could think of...
needless to say he lost close to $800 in a quick fashion, he paid after loosing the smaller sets $100 here $100 there... then pressed up to $600 with $200 in sweats, no one asked to post because he was paying earlier... well you know what happened he got beat 10 to 1 and guess what? he had no cash!!!!
wanted to back up and double up on the promise of an ATM trip, that was not going to happen...
well after "caravaning" to several ATM's and all night drug stores up and down Summer Ave. and a myriad of excuses and issues saying that he was hustled... he used them all:
"do you know who my dad is?", I replied "he aint here and we don't even know who you are?"
"I am on medication", my reply "who isn't"...
"you hustled me!!!", my reply "you set the game, you hustled yourself"
then he made a cryptic phone call, claiming to the party on the line that he had a situation; "hey we got a #27 going on here", "I repeat a situation #27 ..." I don't know what that was, but it was funny as hell...
shortly after a car with several Hispanic's pulled into the lot and he said "they are with me... thank god they showed up", when in fact they were some of our local late night patrons... this guy was trying anything and everything...
finally he was on the phone again, claiming that some associates coming from the casinos are on the way to pay his debt... what would turnout to be another lie, imagine that...
by this time he was hungry and wanted McDonald's, which is just across the street... we said that we would follow him there... then once on Summer Ave. he floored it and snaked thru traffic like a mad man... we decide to cut our losses, but we got the story...
oh, by the way my buddy from Chicago finally returned my call from last night this morning, he said, "short guy, glasses, cusses a lot? where is he? that little bastard owes me $300!!! he lost and said he was going to get the money from his car and never came back." I said couldn't you have called me back last night...
well anyway, if you see this little entertaining fellow, MAKE HIM POST UP!!!
I dont know about violence towards the handicapped, but several people wanted to give him "equal rights" if you know what I mean...
watch out for this little conman...
regards,
