Is it Predator? Seems they have their logos on half the players and all the tournaments.

Who is the biggest sponsor that is a non-billiard company? Guiness for their Asian tour?

Let's define 2 "biggest" categories.. One for most cash spend and one for more appearances, even if it's a minor sponsor.

Just curious.

Biggest sponsor in the U.S.?

Easy.....what is the name on the table at the Derby, US Open, Reno events, State tournaments all across the country?

Diamond. Not even close.

The cloth that goes on them has to be a close second I would think. Everytime the table is mentioned the cloth is mentioned right along with it.

As far as a "non-pool related" I am not sure about that one.

Predator is all over though, even at the regional tournaments, not just in signs but on all the players they sponsor. 100 players with Preador logos is more than a dozen tournaments that use their tables.

I would like to know the answer to this myself. As you know I have the Efren/Frost 1 pocket deal going on and although it is a big deal to alot of people it is maybe not that big of a deal to potential sponsors. I would like to know who are the sponsors that are willing to chipin for a live streamed local event with big names? I will be watching this thread and I hope to learn something :)

The question is: Overall or Recent

Overall, it has to be

1. Simonis
2. Viking
3. Cuetec

Recent, IMO:

1. Diamond
2. Simonis
3. I don't know, a bunch of honorable mentions

Biggest sponsors in Pool have to be:

Simonis
Aramith
Diamond
Brunswick
Predator

Not necessarily in that order.....

In my honest opinion i would have to say simonis right now is the biggest. After talking to a lot of the people on tour and a lot of the people who arrange these tours simonis cloth is the number one right now due to the fact that whether its brunswick or diamond even AMF tables in a ny pool room where the predator inaugural event was held the cloth is simonis.

Followed and i think tied for the next spot are Diamond and Predator. Aramith is a very good sponsor but does not put in the amount that the table and cuemakers put in.

In terms of player sponsors Predator is right now at the top of the list.

Just remember you need an equal amount of set of balls for each table you set up for play, therefore, each table needs cloth and a set of balls (my preference being Aramith).

Non-Billiard Co

CUETEC? :D

Approximately 7-8 years ago, a person who just came off the Board of the WPBA told me that Brunswick was giving the WPBA one million per year. Simonis at that time was giving 100K per year.

You gotta throw Olhausen in there somewhere I would think. Maybe not so much as of late but they have contributed quite a bit in the past as well.
