Mickey....I had RAKM UP in Colorado, from 1975-1984...then RAKM UP in Montana, from 1984-2007...and now I have RAKM UP in Michigan. Mine's not original, though...I saw it in an old National Billiard News photo of a Corvette with South Carolina plates! :D

That was Bob Opsahl's car in S. Carolina. He used to sponsor the Rak'm Up Classic back in the 80's.

I used to have HOT CUE on my '56 Chevy. The DMV would not give me HOT STIK, said it was too suggestive??? True!

Here's a nice website to model any personalized plate you wanna try. Pick your state and type in your message. It gives you a look at it before submitting the form to make sure it looks good.

Here's an example of a plate that a local player has.

Lic Plates

Mine are " SUPER Q "and I have had this on my plates for
over 45 years . In South Dakota you can use 7 spaces so i use the
letter Q instead of the word CUE. I have had a C B in my car for
over 50 some years (when they became legal) and some one gave
me the CB handle of "supercue" and I still respond to that on
my C B .
By the way Shane VanBoening is My grandson and ,thank god,
I introduced him to the game at under 2 years old and I still work with
him. He is not only a great student but a delight to be around and I
love him and am so proud of him.
Gary Bloomberg
By the way Shane has (I think)" DAK KID " or close to that on
His car.

The Saw said:
When we would roll into town with this plate all of the locals knew what time it was.... They knocked just as much action as they created so they had to go! I signed them over to Janis but I think he lost them in the move to the south. Danny thought they were the best ever and would drag people out to the parking lot to show them who they were dealing with. And Danny, if you're out there lurking, it was bad enough bypassing The Saw in the book but how could you not let John know about the BETMORE plates????? B.A.N. :)

Saw, I stll have my BETMORE plates hanging in the Garage. After those plates I also had NE149BL and IPLADOU. But the BETMORE were the best. Thanks, Mj

Wow, some cool ideas ... Thanks everyone !!

I need to check the DMV website and see what is available, make a list and then select one.

Take care,

Russ........
