First you start with this.

Then you dig a hole.

Then you prep it for concrete.

Now where's my table ?

looks great man.

im about to do that, sick of my FREAKING WALLS blocking 3 corners on my table.

It drives me freaking insane.

If I move it in the living room its no longer my room.. but hell im about to do it.

Concrete is down and backfilled, ready for lumber now. The rain has been torrential, typical November in the Pacific Northwest . Oh well keep on plugging away and it will get done.
Ran onto a small problem. The inspector came to approve the forms and asked for a site survey. They surveyed the site and found that we were 3.54" too close to the property line on the back fence. We built 5' off the fence to be safe as the local code calls for a 1 meter setback. This means that some clown built the fence way on the other side of the property line. We had to move the back wall in 4" so now it's 24' x 23' 8" may not get the 9' pool table in along side the Riley after all. Lesson learned, get a survey no matter what!

Got the framing underway yesterday but hampered by the weather today, looks like it will be slow progress through the winter but I would like to get the roof on before it snows.

:clapping: Looking good... Keep the pics coming..... By the way, what are the dimensions of the room?

The weather has been really bad with major wind and rain storms, had to abandon the build on Sunday after getting two walls up. I will keep the updates coming though and a cost summary at the end :)

Looks great!!! It should be a nice hide away for many hours of practice. Can't wait to see the final pics with table installed.

Mike

I picked it up used from a private club that closed.
There is a strange story behind it but I cannot go into it here, lets just say they could not pay the rent and had to get rid of the tables in a hurry so I lowballed them and bought the table for 1K.

Good luck with the project. It looks like things are shaping up well.

Thanks, made a little progress between rain storms. Notice the field at the back has a small lake forming :) I have never seen rain like this in a long time.
As you can see I set up the table to give you an idea of scale :D
