You hear about a ton of great cuemakers and alot of really talented up-and-comers, but you rarely hear about Bobby Hunter's cues.
He's no longer building cues in Nevada and has joined forces with Joe Gold of Cognescenti, and I for one can't wait to see the new designs!
He already makes some absolutely gorgeous cues that are some really great players, although there isn't as much recognition out there for his work as he deserves.
Try them, they are well worth the price, and will only be getting better in the near future.
Besides, how many great cuemakers out there can also claim to be champion players?

Bobby built me a cue a couple of years ago and he did a real nice job. Fit and finish are excellent and has matching joint protectors.
I haven't hit with the cue it's still virgin.

Yes sir, that is a 1 of 1 Bobby Hunter 5 Amboyna Burl points. First cue I ever seen Bobby made with traditional pointed cue. Everything white is ivory on that cue:) .

Beautiful cues!
Nice examples of Bobby's work..... Gorgeous!

I know where one like your first one is, but it's ebony , with silver cut points and ivory spearheads or whatever they are. The Ak-47 cue that one of my friends is selling.

His website is out of date, but huntercues.com has his contact emails and some of his cues shown. Although he can be reached at (775)450-2607

Bobby brought a high end cue to my booth at the derby and it was incredible!!!

Was it the ebony with ivory and silver points/spears ? - he showed me that one at the DCC, and it's one of the most gorgeous cues I've ever seen.

Hello,
I just talked to Bobby Hunter today and he is not at the shop since he is trying to recover from a cold or from DCC? :)
He will be sending me some pictures of some of his cues. I am interested on getting a cue from him, he does some really great hitting cues.
As soon as I have the pictures I will post them. He is sharing the shop with Joe Gold but he is not making cues with him. A lot of people think that they went together to make cues.

I can't wait to see the pictures!
I called him yesterday to see if I could post his number on here before I did it, and see what he has in the works.
If Craig can get his files to load, he has some really nice ones-
Of course he has alot of great cues anyway!
