Bobby Pickle Report

way more than meets the eye here. a short account isnt what happened. and why didnt his cronies just say he wasn't involved at all.

and in general just being in a room or place that had drugs isnt a crime unless they can prove he knew or was part of it.
unless he was still on probation for something else and consorting with criminals. but it seems he had a record and that would be a problem in sentencing not conviction, especially taking a plea deal unless it was confirmed exactly what he was facing. and likely he didnt have that or he would not have let that lengthy sentence happen unless he was found guilty.

and the cops had to have a warrant to burst in so this wasnt just a case of some drugs in a room.

when you are offered a plea deal they show you the evidence against you and what you may face if in the event you are found guilty.
and that evidence must have been substantial for him to accept a guilty plea.

just because he is a great pool player doesn't mean the politicians or judges or police or d.a. are all crooked and framed him for something he wasnt involved in.

I saw Bobby playing years ago and hope he can work himself back into society successfully. It’s not easy and Sam Monday proved that. He struggled after his release and sadly has passed.
It ain’t easy and I wish him the best when he is free again.

Any news on Bobby Pickle? If he got 25 years in 2005, he might be up for early release.
Not sure about the exact timeline but Bobby was at the Galveston World Classic in 2009 with his bar box team that included Tedder and Scooter. IIRC correctly they won that event.

so after he got out of jail for the drug deal, he went back in for a robbery kidnap case? is that true. and all here keep defending him.

and he already had a robbery conviction or arrest from before?
There is so much more to this story, but I'm not going to beat a dead horse. Don't believe everything you read on social media would be my reply,.

Some folks who live outside the law, or along the edges, lead charmed lives. Others seem to catch a charge every time they turn around. And then there's the folks whose usual good fortune fails them all at once -- "when it rains, it pours". Having observed this phenomena more than once, I came to believe that it is not dissimilar to when usually good gamblers go on tilt. They absolutely know better, but circumstances force them into action under conditions they would ordinarily avoid. Desperation and pressure are some nasty, nasty, shit.

Another aspect of such situations is that law enforcement is quite well versed in such matters and has been known to increase surveillance on folks in a jam, or, being the wonderful folks that they sometimes are, will provide the unfortunate with even more immediate and certain means of destruction -- "here, hold this."

As some know all too well, it is a nasty world out near the line. At one time, there may have truly been "honor among thieves" but . . . Best practice, today, is to avoid all such activity like the literal plague it is. Sometimes things might start out okay, but they almost always end very badly.

yes, BP has a long history of really bad choices. i like his pool too but you can't just ignore all his f^&k-ups.

A tiny minute # of people know the correct details. Bobby is a genuinely nice guy who made poor and risky decisions. When released he will have paid his debt and I hope he makes only wise decisions for the remainder of his life.

A few members in the thread allege that they know the true details and that by knowing those true details one would put Bobby in a better light. What I'm curious about is why, if those details not so widely known would add to Bobby's credibility, you don't share them with the AZB Cult?

In other words, inquiring minds what to know because we like Bobby the pool player / entertainer....

yes put the correct details down. otherwise dont go around saying people don't know what they are talking about or know thew real story.

as far as we know he is a great guy and great pool player that keeps getting into serious trouble with the law.

so he didn't do what he has gone to jail for?
or he hasn't gone to jail and that is just social internet lies?
or does his fan club think its okay what he has done, or hasn't done anything.
and he was falsely convicted even after pleading guilty?.

what is the real story. since it's here on the thread and was posted originally by a fan and friend, it needs to be cleared up if the info is wrong.

and it may very well be.

case details are out there if you know how to look. i found them pretty easily. Hint: his full name is Robert Kerry Pickle from Tennessee. he might be a nice guy but based on his exploits he deserves a spot in the Dumbf^&k Crook Hall of Fame. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to pulling capers off.

And you know a man doesn't get caught every time either.

I thought i remembered he was jammed up on state charges for the 3rd time..which required a long sentence because of a 3 strikes law.

So he robbed a bank to hopefully make his prison sentence in a Federal prison instead of a state prison.

I know I read that on this forum...don't know how true it is.

There should definitely be audits of all elected officials- personal AND ESPECIALLY financial- prior to acceptance as our servants.
Makes sense, but this would thin out the pool of qualified people to run.

Same thing happening on Belleair beach city council. New to this year you have to make your tax records public. Nobody’s running.

bank deal was earlier iirc. what got him in prison this time was the kidnap/robbery. i think it happened in 2010 and he's been in since '12.
