Bogus Ball..from the start

The road makes a person tough in many ways, shapes and forms. There's been thousands of very successful people that have had their share of ups and downs, it's just part of the journey. There's no easy way to change, it's not coded into the "human nature". Thomas Edison was the greatest "sample example" and said it like this:

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. - Thomas A. Edison

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. - Thomas A. Edison

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. - Thomas A. Edison

Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits. - Thomas A. Edison

Much like the work he took credit for, one has to wonder if those quotes were even his. I don't think Tesla would care much for any of the above, except for the finding of 10,000 ways that didn't work. You were right, it's all about who has the power.. not about who gets screwed.

Wrong!!!!!!

GOLUB,you seem to think investors are stupid and can't see BB is a failure without my help. You also seem to think it is ok not to pay workers .No big deal in your world. We disagree on these 2 issues.

I think cheaters should be exposed ,to warn others and try to assist the injured parties. The only way they will get paid is if enough pressure, socially and legally,is put on BB people. You don't see any BB posts refuting any of our facts or conclusions. You seem to say cheaters are ok and nobody should say anything. We just disagree.Everyone lives by their own morals.

Social pressure won't get anyone paid, sorry to have to explain this to you, but having money is the only way people get paid and talking down about something because you don't think it can work is a way to help ensure that they NEVER get paid.

If you care about the players getting paid, you would help promote bonus ball so investors would WANT to contribute. Do don't say you care about the players getting paid cause actions speak louder than words and your actions show that you care more about knocking bonus ball than the players getting paid.

I bet I know the actual Edison qoute...

The actual quote is probably "I found 10,000 ways to screw Nicky cause I'm a greedy bastard"....."even though he made me tens of millions of dollars by giving me alternating current"...

no changes, middle of the month, everything is still on track. nothing has changed.

If they're in the midst of refunding and revamping, I would expect them to keep quiet until everything is fully set, prepped, and ready.

If they're running on fumes and about to fall off the cliff, I would also expect them to keep quiet.

I figure it's probably one or the other. I'm rooting for the first one.

Well, I know the events and the players are still being affected by BB. Only 3 BB players are signed up for the Texas Open. Sylver, Chip & Joey (They got 1st and second last year) :D You gotta go to that! Sylver won it in 2007 I believe.

How many bonus ball players played in it last year?

Success is a sorting process

It's not clear how these snippets of wisdom from Thomas Edison can be applied to Bonus Ball.

For one thing, the BB players have little or no control over how this is resolved. All the BB players can do now is wait and hope for the best -- which is hardly what I call controlling their destinies.

Success is a sorting process, and you have to experience the "bad" before you can recognize the "good"....this is just the "game of life".

I played tennis last night with one of my best friends from high school. He's been through all types of jobs and has helped me in the past with some significant business ventures that generated tens of millions through the years. His experiences in business are not unique and many of us can relate to them, the difference is he is not afraid to try something new, that may potentially have a positive upside.

Three years ago he got involved with a guy that was a {financial} failure, a drunk, and a drug addict HOWEVER, he had an internet business that my friend saw big potential in. He got dedicated to it and now they are generating over 6 million a year in profit and have over 200 employees and growing rapidly.

He said if he hadn't been in so many failures he would have not recognized how to turn this one business around and make into a HUGE cash cow. 'The Game is the Teacher' ... and the Game is creating opportunities when no one else can see the value. Pool has that type of potential, it's just a matter of time before someone comes up with the correct formula.....and it will be much different than what's currently presented. imho

CJ,we all hope new people come in with a new game ,new plan and become successful. Pro pool has historically had a hard time.Hopefully the next group will have competent people,a product that can produce revenue, and a legitimate business plan.

Don't y'all see the problem here??? It's not Bonus Ball.

The problem is, Pool needs a governing body with a bill of rights and a constitution. One that all positions are voted in. Of the players, for the players, by the players.

If the leaders in the Industry will put aside their personal and petty differences and focus on a common goal......

We all want the same thing.....and, It's a rising tide. Read Mike Howerton's quote below. That is not from recent times. It's still true though.
