Are you talking about the Scruggs full splice with veneers that was a Bear blank?
 
I'm just shocked that anyone even responds to Nick's threads. He has shown over and over that he has opinions that are often wrong. Comes across as a blow hard know it all, and isn't even close to knowing much of anything.

Sure he will say he is just trying to look out for others, and maybe that is his motivation, but all he really does is cause controversy where none is needed..

It is ok to be wrong....and admit you are wrong after hard facts are presented. It is not OK to think that everybody gets a trophy.

Wasn't referring nor even disputing the "truth".. What I was reffering to as "brutal" was the Christmas coming early comment....That WAS pretty brutal in a comical kind of sense...
 
some times a jackass talks [brays] don't know why he brays, he just does it, because he's an authority & the cows & horses can't. after I bought the Scruggs, I seen Nick's post, so I pm'ed him, asking for Bob Frey's phone & email. his response. you got ****ed. what a nice response. then the braying continued on & on, over & over. I've wanted to dispute but held back, until the answer came loud & clear, Bob built a 2nd shaft & put TS logo on cue. its in near excellent condition & I'm happy w/ it. I want to personally thank Nick for all the free advertising. this Scruggs is pretty well known now. it will be at the Derby City Classic in a few weeks. don " the SUREMANATER" Sherman aka Sure Man Cues
